Backstory: Patton has a rule. Light sides can't date Dark sides (including Virgil). His reason? It's wrong. All sides hate this rule, well except Patton, he loved the rule

Now onto the story

One day Patton was skipping down the hall checking on everyone, when he opened romans door, he saw Roman and Virgil kissing, Virgil saw Patton in the doorway

V- Fuck, Ro... look...

Roman looked at Patton in the doorway

Ro- oh shit. Pat, please just let me date him.... I love him....
P- Fine, I guess it's fine since he's a light side now. I still don't like it but if it makes you happy... I'll let it slide
Ro- Thank you so much Patton!
P- You're welcome, I'm glad you're happy

Patton continued skipping down the hall to logans room (Don't worry he closed their door :) he's not that bad) when he opened the door, he saw Logan pinned against the wall and Remus kissing him

P- Logan! You know my rule!
L- Patton. Your rule is stupid, I'm sorry but it is you can't stop us from loving who we love! And I love Remus!
Rem- He's not wrong, it's not like you can pick who you love...
P- Ugh, whatever, I guess you're right
L- and why would I need your permission to date, it's not like you're my dad
P- ...You wouldn't...
L- Exactly, now can I continue making out with my boyfriend?
P- yea whatever don't be loud
Rem- Laughing we won't
L- Patton! don't encourage him!
P- I'll do what I want, you're not my dad, plus you started it
L- just get out please

He closed the door and left and went to his room  
He was still mad that the others didn't follow his rule, but Logan was right, you can't choose who you love... so he tried to ignore that they were dating them

~Time Skip, they're filming a video now~

P- mumbling under his breath Oh... why him.... 
R- you ok pat? You look shocked?
P- Hm? Oh, yea I'm fine, I just uh realized something...
V- you sure that's it? You don't seem happy about what you "Realized"
P- yea it's nothing
V- alright...

Janus could tell he was lying and knew he had to talk to him after the video

~Time Skip~

Once they were done with the video, he immediately sunk out to his room

P- Why him!? Why do I like him!? Ugh... this sucks.... Why'd I have to love Janus.... I swore I wouldn't love any of the dark sides....

What he didn't know Janus had appeared in his room, hearing everything he immediately disguised himself as Roman before Patton saw him
Ro(Janus)- everything ok Patton?
P- Huh? Oh yea, I'm fine, when did you get in here?
Ro(Janus)- I heard what you said, so Janus huh?
P- Shoot... yea....
Ro(Janus)- why do you sound so upset?
P- if I tell him then 1, he'd probably hate me or at least not like me back and 2 I'd be breaking my own rule....
Ro(Janus)- that's true, but no one is following your rule anyway, so why keep the rule?
P- I guess you're right... but what if I tell him and he doesn't like me back or hates me....
Ro(Janus)- I'm 100 percent sure he won't hate you, and he'll like you back don't worry about it
P- how do you know...?
Janus turned back to his normal self
J- I just know
P- wait.. d-do you actually like me..?
J- No I don't
P- you actually do?
J- yes, Patton, I like you
P- that's great
Patton ran over and hugged Janus and Janus hugged back

J- you say it's great, but you sound upset, what's wrong?
P- I... I just don't understand why...
J- why what?
P- why you like me back... I hated you... and made it clear with my dumb rule...
J- I know, but you obviously don't anymore, and no one follows that rule, so it's stupid to bring it up again, just forget about it Pat, I don't care about it
P- But-
J- No, Patton, I don't care about it, it was nothing, don't worry about it, ok?
P- I still feel bad about it though...
J- and that's fine, you're going to feel bad about it, that's normal, just don't worry about it ok?
P- ok... I'll try not to, thank you Janus
J- your welcome Patton
P- so, are we dating now? Or what?
J- what do you want?
P- dating..
J- then we're dating
P- thank you
J- no problem Patton
Janus and Patton sat on the bed
J- Hey, Patton?
P- yes Janus?
J- could I uhm, kiss you?
Patton nodded and mumbled out a "mhm" and Janus pulled him onto his lap and kissed him, Patton happily returned the kiss 
Eventually they broke the kiss and Patton sat in Janus's lap laying his head on Janus's shoulder
P-  I love you Janus
J- I love you too Patton

I hope this is good, I kept procrastinating working on it But let me know what you guys think, also I'm finished it and realized the Prompt had prinxiety in the bathroom not a normal bedroom 😒 but I'm not fixing it, so deal with it.
