Comfort Cuddles (Remake)

Ok, so, I'm bored and can't sleep so, I've decided to remake some old Oneshots since I've gotten a little better at writing, so yea! That's what this is! I hope this is at least a little better then the original

This will be thoughts, just so you know, every other font is the same as it normally is

⚠️Virgil's thought get really intense, they mention a lot of things (like being useless, no one caring, and it being better if he died, etc. etc.) so if you don't like things like that I'd recommend you don't read this, or just skip over his thoughts, he also think about and almost does commit unalive, there's also swearing⚠️ just some warnings

It was currently about 3 am, everyone was sleeping, well, almost everyone, Virgil was currently in his room, trying to block out some unwanted thoughts, but he wasn't having much luck, so he is also crying

No one cares about you, they would be better off without you, why don't you just duck out again? It would be better for everyone, especially Roman, he hates you and works better without you
V- Shut up.... Please....
Why? I'm just stating the obvious facts, your useless, no one cares about you, it'd be better if you were gone
V- Shut up...!
I'm just saying, you don't matter, just leave! It's better for everyone! All you do is hurt them!
V- S-Shut up! Y-Your wrong!
No I'm not, it'd be better if you died, no one would notice anyway, you can't even do your job, Thomas isn't scared of you, no one is, your fucking useless and pathetic
V- Shut the fuck up!
No, you should just kill yourself, it'd be better for everyone. Your a burden.
V- maybe....

Virgil gets up and goes to his bathroom and grabs some rope and just considers it, meanwhile Roman had woken up and heard Virgil yelling so he went to Virgils room to check on him, as he went into Virgil's room he saw Virgil in the bathroom setting up a, you know- unaliving tool (I don't want to say it so I don't trigger anyone or anything, so use your imagination ig-)
R- Virgil! What are you doing!?
Virgil quickly closes and locks the bathroom door
V- g-go away....
R- no! Open the door!
V- stop yelling... Please...
R- I'm sorry.. but please open the door..
V- why do you even care.. no one does..
R- what are you talking about? Of course we all care, your so important Virgil
V- no I'm not..
R- I can just sink out and rise into the bathroom
Roman did just that, he rose up into the bathroom and hugged Virgil who was standing against the bathroom door
R- yes you are, what is going on? I heard you yelling and I come into your room to see you setting that up
V- it's not important, just go back to sleep, I'm sorry for waking you up... I didn't mean to...
Roman puts two of his fingers under Virgil's chin and lifts his head so Virgil was looking at him, Roman looked at vee running makeup and tears before looking him directly in the eyes, Virgil reluctantly looked Roman in the eyes a few seconds after
R- it's not your fault, I woke up a few minutes ago, but whatever was going on is very important, please tell me
V- I-I was just.. thinking..
R- about?
V- not important..
R- if you don't want to talk about it you don't have to, but it could potentially help, so do you want to or no?
Virgil stays silent for a minute or two before eventually nodding
R- yes?
V- yes.. but can we get out of the bathroom first..?-
R- yes, we can
Roman picks Virgil up bridal style and opens the door, he brings Virgil over to Virgils bed and sits on the bed with him, he sets vee on the bed a little bit away from him but Virgil crawls over to him and sits in his lap, Roman slightly laughs and starts playing with Virgil's hair
R- so what was going on?
V- I don't really know how to explain it..
R- intrusive thoughts?
V-....yea..
R- do you want to talk about what the thoughts were about?
V- mostly just that no one cares, especially not you, I couldn't do my job probably, it would be better if I left, I'm useless, and all I do is hurt you guys and that I'm a burden.. and obviously telling me I should.. you know.. what I tried to do..
R- none of that is true, why would you think that?
V- I don't know.. I've just always thought it.. it's just never been this much of a problem until now.. I hoped I hadn't woken anyone up with my yelling..
R- I don't think you did, like I said I woke up a bit ago, Logan might be up working already but I'm surprised he didn't come check on you, but no one else did and I'm sure everyone would have if you woke them up, so your fine
V- are you sure I didn't wake you up..?
R- yes I'm sure Virgil, don't worry, would you like me to stay with you tonight to help you with your thoughts? I know how to deal with them, since Rem has them sometimes, his aren't as intense as yours but I'm willing to try and help if you want
V- I don't want to bother you.. you should get back to sleep.. I'm sure you and Thomas will need it, I'll be fine
R- it won't bother me, I went to bed early so I've had plenty of sleep so do you want me to?
V- no, it's fine, you don't have to, I don't want to be a burden
R- Virgil, your not a burden, I want to help you
V- if your sure.. you can stay if you want..
R- do you want me to though?
V- yes.. I do.. I just don't want to take your time..
R- you won't be taking my time, I'm happy to help you
Roman fluffs Virgils hair, Virgil softly smiles and cuddles up to Roman, they talk for a few hours and eventually it's 7 am, yes, they talked for 4 hours, but only about 2 or 3 of those were about Virgil's intrusive thoughts, the rest of the time was just mindless rambling from both of them but they hadn't realized it was 7 am, which was when Patton would come in to wake all his kiddos up for breakfast, and just that happened, Patton had woken everyone but Roman and Virgil up, Virgil's room was closer so he had gone straight to Virgils room and didn't see Roman wasn't in his room Patton quietly opened the door and saw both of them talking, Virgil was in Romans lap, Roman was playing with Virgils hair (like the picture on the story)  Patton held back from squealing since Virgil had obviously been crying
P- Virgil? Are you alright?
V- yea, Roman helped me, I just haven't had time to wipe of my makeup so it's still all over my face-
P- alright, why are you two in here? And have you gotten any sleep?
R- Virgil needed some help earlier with something, I offered to help and we've been talking for a few hours, I got a bit of sleep but I don't think Virgil did
V- no, I yawn haven't, my problem kept me up all night
P- you two should go to bed for a bit, I'll save some breakfast for you
V- thanks popstar
P- your welcome kiddo
Patton leaves, Virgil and Roman both cuddle each other and end up falling asleep until 1 pm, they spend the rest of the day together, and that night they finally went to their own rooms but Virgil's intrusive thoughts began bothering him again so he went over to Romans room and knocked, Roman opened the door
R- Vee?
V- I need help.. I'm getting intrusive thoughts again.. but it's different than my other ones..
Roman pulls vee into his room and brings vee to his bed
R- what are these ones?
V- uhm.. they're about a certain person..
R- who?
V- rather not say..
R- alright, what about this person?
V- I like them but I don't think they'll return the feeling despite the fact they've shown they probably would recently
R- I'm sure they will, just tell them how you feel, why are you asking me about this?
V- uh, your the best with romance and stuff and I know you can help with my intrusive thoughts
R- alright, well just tell them, there's no way they don't like you back
V- are you sure?
R- yea, of course
Virgil sits there for a minute, but eventually turns and looks directly at Roman, Roman looks at him, a bit confused but then Virgil kisses Roman and Roman kisses back eventually they pull away and just cuddle
R- so, it was me?
V- obviously dummy
R- I figured, since this is coming up now
V- I hoped it wasn't obvious- I just didn't want to deal with my thoughts getting worse on this
R- I understand, I'm glad you came over here, I don't want you to deal with that
V- I'm assuming you return the feelings?
R- yes, obviously
V- good
They both end up falling asleep together that night
