Chapter 23

Christmas Day.

Vinnie and i we're getting ready for the dinner we planned, we didn't have to get anything ready downstairs since he hired people to do it, which actually took away some of the Christmas energy, but it's okay. Today I'll be wearing a red mini dress with gloves that are the matching set and i don't know about vinnie, he always comes up with cute outfit anyways.

One of the maids came to the room to tell us that everyone was downstairs waiting for us. Once I finished, vinnie was laid down on the bed watching tv and while waiting for me.

"Why are you not downstairs with everyone" I said putting on an earring.

"Because I don't want to go alone, it's better if I go with you" he turned his face, looked at me up and down and licked his lips "you know they can wait a bit longer" he smirked and i raised a brow

"Yea Well the thing is that I don't want to ruin my makeup right now." I finished to put the other earring on "I'm ready."

"Finally, now let's go" he stood and turned off the tv.

He closed our room door and locked our hands together

"You look gorgeous" he stared into my eyes and kissed my forehead, I gave him an smile and made our way to the living room

"Hey guys" maddy said with the brightest smile on her face, she stood and came to hug us "merry Christmas" she said

"Merry Christmas" I said and the repeated the same action with everyone

"You look so pretty" maddy said coming back to my side

"So do you..." i said

"Right? I love her dress" Leah added and Maddy just nodded "anyways, I can't wait for you guys to open your gifts" she seemed so happy

"Same, i actually spent so much time trying to find something for you two" I said

Actually I spent a lot of time trying to find something for maddy, but for Leah I just didn't put effort at all, she doesn't have too much so it was easier, but to not make her feel bad I just said I did.

"I bought Kio a bracelet, I don't know if he's going to like it, i hope he does" she said out of nowhere

"Did you really buy kio a present with his own money.." maddy looked at her and I laughed

"Come on maddy, is not like you have your own money anyways, you're a maintained girl just as me and her" she pointed at me and I gasped

"Watch your mouth, you don't know shit" maddy pointed at her

"Girls... calm down, it's Christmas, let's not fight today?" I forced an smile "please"

"Whatever, but you better watch your words next time" maddy added And Leah turned around and went to seat next to kio who didn't seem so happy with her but tried to dissimulate. He would fake smile at her, and have no face expression when she tried to kiss him, even when she tried to be playful he would just ignore her and he was just so off with everyone.

"What's up with him" I asked Maddy

"Honestly... I don't know. Since what happened at vinnie's with the security cameras and everything he's been acting really weird" she looked at me and the memory of that day instantly came to my mind making me feel uncomfortable
