Chapter 32

I went to the bar and asked for something strong, the fact that vinnie had to ruin the night like this is just NOT IT!.

"So are you going to get drunk and pretend he's not here?" I heard a familiar voice next to me.

"Is not like I can make him invisible" I looked at Kio. "Whatever, tonight I'm here for Maddy and Jordan not for vinnie."

"Yeah, well good look with that, you don't want to get drunk and end up doing something you might regret tomorrow"

"Can you watch my back and don't let me do anything crazy?, it's all I ask for" I took a sip of my drink

"Yeah sure." He said

"Thanks."

He looked for something on his pockets

"Want one?" He handed me a blunt. I looked at him kind indecisive because I didn't know if we are allowed to do it. "Nobody cares, most of this people do it." He said

"Thanks" I took one and put it in my purse I just didn't feel like smoking right now.

"Let's go to our table, we're with Maddy and jordan." He said and started walking, I just followed him.

Once we arrived at the table vinnie and the girl were seated there too, he was making her laugh and had her arm around her. I'm literally going to kill one of them.

"Kio what a surprise." I mumbled

"I really wanted to seat and if I would've told you wouldn't have wanted to come" he shrugged and I sat next to him. I felt vinnie's eyes on my while I was trying so hard to not look.

"So vinnie who's your friend" I heard Kio and I internally choked him to death.

"I'm Avery, nice to meet you." I heard her voice and I widened my eyes

"I'm out" I stood but kio held my arm "where are you going, didn't you tell me to look up for you the whole night" he stood and I walked somewhere away from the table.

"Kio stop messing with me right now" I felt my face almost burning of anger "what the fuck is your problem, you think I don't fucking know you're the one getting him the girls, what the fuck went through your fucking mind" I raised my voice

"Avery.. I-" he tried to explain but the anger didn't even let me let him finish.

"No you fucking piece of shit, I hate you, how dare are you to do this, I thought we were friends but you simply don't give a shit, I-" I felt my eyes getting watery

"Avery stop" he yelled "I didn't get him that girl, I don't know where he found her I didn't even know he was coming with one." He said

"What?" In that moment I didn't know how to react at all because it came from vinnie not even from Kio.

"I didn't know any of this. I swear, I actually think that's very rude of him" he said

"I don't want to be here" I cried of sadness and anger "I need to leave."

"Come here" he hugged me "you know what, fuck him and fuck that girl, you're going to go to that table and act like the bad bitch you are, you don't give a fuck about him and just be my date and that's it. As friends of course." He massaged my back and I pulled away.

I need to get my shit together, he's right.

"Okay, I got this. Fuck him and fuck walmart Avery." I took a deep breath

"Yes, I love that energy, now go to the bathroom fix your makeup and I'll see you at the table with some drinks." He smiled at me and I nodded

As I was walking to the bathroom Maddy joined me.
