Nova

Carter is crazy!
Yet, I had no choice but to agree to his ridiculous plan.

After I returned to the castle, Nicholas as usual disappeared, continuing to avoid me.

“You must go and begin to prepare” Carter suggested.
“Okay” I mumbled, still unsure about this plan.

“Do not worry much, I will make sure Nicholas returns to his chambers tonight” he winked at me.
I ignored him and began to head towards my chambers.
Our chambers!

“Hey Nova” he called out,
“Good luck and don’t forget to share the details” he grinned.
“In your dreams, Carter” I shouted back and continued to walk.

Like I am going to say anything!
It’s already embarrassing enough for me.

I could hear him chuckling behind me.
It had already been a few hours since the sun had set.
Surprisingly, Nicholas had allowed me to stay with my parents for much longer than I had expected.

I didn't want mom and dad to leave!
Then again, it would be selfish of me to make them stay here when I knew that they would be much more happier in the other world.

I entered the chambers and began to light up all the lamps.
Then I decided to take a long warm bath and relax my sore muscles. I still had a lot of time until Nicholas arrives.
I wasn’t even sure if he would come.
After a while I got off the bathtub and wrapped a bathrobe around me. I headed towards the closet with a sigh.

Come on, don’t be too dramatic!

Rummaging through the clothes, I found the one which I needed.
I quickly put it on before I could have any second thoughts about it.
I brushed my long hair thoroughly and tied it up in a messy bun.

Alright! Time to see how I look.

I took one look in the mirror and I almost screamed at my own reflection.
Standing in the mirror was a completely different person. This skimpy wine red coloured nightgown which I wore was exactly the kind of outfit I vowed never to wear.

It didn’t leave much to the imagination.

The flimsy satin material of the dress fit me perfectly like a second skin, defining my body shape. The dress I had on was supported by thin straps and the neckline of the outfit plunged deep down showing off my cleavage, much to my dismay.

I turned around and saw in the mirror that majority portion of my back was exposed and the length of the dress just barely reached my mid thighs
I never felt this exposed in my entire life.

Focus Nova! Remember the plan.

This great master plan of Carter was nothing but plain old seduction.
Of course one of my many talents, note the sarcasm.

If this doesn’t work, I am going to bury Carter alive!

I stepped out of the closet and looked around the empty room.
It’s not even midnight yet!
So I guess I still have time.
