Haeyoon checks herself in front of the mirror once more before walking out the door for her monthly visit to the prison. Though most people would be happy to talk to their parents, especially if you didn't live with them, Haeyoon dreads this time of the month. Originally, it was once a fortnight but Haeyoon couldn't bear to look at her parents and she told them that she would be visiting once a month from then on.

The honk of the familiar car confirmed the situation that she is currently in. Haeyoon says her goodbye to her family, rushing out and locking the door before her 'father' could touch her. She fixed a forced smile on before turning her back to face Jeno, Donghyuck and Soobin, waiting for her in the red car.

Usually, it would just be Soobin but because of the tension lately between him and the girl, Jeno sensed that it would be better for him to tag along, "Come on, Hae." Jeno opens the passenger door for her, "You look pale again." he pats her head reassuringly, making Haeyoon tear up a bit, sensitive at this time of the month, more sensitive than her 'time of the month'.

Haeyoon smiles, weak and frail, to the boy as she makes herself comfortable at the back seat.

"I'll be okay, Hae. Just like every other month." Though Soobin didn't look at her, his hands covering his eyes, probably in shyness. He hasn't had a proper conversation with her after that day when Haeyoon fainted in the dance room.

Donghyuck scoffs quietly under his breath. Haeyoon looks over to him, giving him a calm smile, mouthing him a 'hello' to which he just hums back at. Truthfully, Donghyuck just never truly liked Soobin. The time when Haeyoon asked him why, Donghyuck just said that he 'had a bad feeling' about him. Even after endless questions, Haeyoon has always got the same answer back, or similar answers back from the boy. She couldn't understand why he hates Soobin so much but she didn't put much thought into it. The only reason that he is able to deal with the boy is because he truly loved his other friends in the group, of course particularly Son Yebin.

"Hey Haeyoon

"Hey Haeyoon." Mr Han, an old police officer greets the girl. Mr Han of course remembers the girl, her countless visits and sombre face of being in the room made her memorable. Even so, Mr Han treats the girl nicely, starting short conversations as Haeyoon is escorted to the visiting room and Haeyoon would always respond back with gladness, knowing someone is looking after her. Originally, she thought the guards would be nasty to her. I mean, who wouldn't? She's the daughter of a criminal, a reckless criminal.

"Visiting for thirty minutes, like usual?" Mr Han confirms with the girl before opening the steel door to the private room.

Haeyoon looks to the glass panel of the door, watching the guards uncuff her parents, the two criminals rubbing their wrists with the palms of their hands to soothe the tightness that the metal restraints had on them, "Yeah...thank you."

Haeyoon steps into the dead room, although on the other side of the room, her parents held a pleasant smile at their daughter, looking at how she has grown even more the past month. Haeyoon takes a seat at the silver chair, not even greeting her parents.

"Hi baby." her mother places her palms on the glass panel, eye level to the girl, "How long are you going to stay mad at us? It was an accident, honey. We've told you countless times."

"And I've told you countless times that you could have been avoided if you didn't drink and drive..." Haeyoon feels cold, her tone making even the hairs on her skin stand.

"We're sorry, honey." her dad spoke, the sincerity dripping from his voice. Yet even then, she couldn't help but feel disappointed with her parents' actions.

"You killed two people." Haeyoon finally looks up at the two pairs of eyes, the ones where she would wish to see less often, "Possibly even a third one. You killed someone's parents, someone's child, someone's friend. Just because you thought drinking a few shots of vodka would be fine because 'home was only a few minutes away from the bar'." Haeyoon couldn't help but feel tired of her repeated statements. She bets that even the police officers that stood behind the two bright orange criminals were tired of it, "I don't know why you expect me to still visit you guys... I don't forgive you for this."

"When will you forgive us, honey?" her mother places both her hands on the panel where it aligns with her child's face, "Another month? A year? Maybe when we get out of prison? We can wait, honey. Even though it's still eight years, we can wait."

Haeyoon stands up abruptly, "Stop denying reality. You're my parents and I acknowledge that. But the fact that I have to see you guys with this heavy and unforgiving heart of mine, pains me more than it pains you both. I hate that I can't forgive my own parents. Please..." Haeyoon turns away, holding the door knob, ready to leave, "I don't know when I'll visit next time, but I'm probably not going to visit next month. You need to give me time. You need to understand that facing you right now will not make me forgive you guys any faster."
