Chapter 1

1935

Y/N POV

It was a nice and warm morning and I was preparing for my school day. I went into shower. Did some nice makeup and then changed myself into my school uniform. I was running late cause I am who I am and I'm always acting as if I have all the time in world for everything and anything.

I quickly took my bag into my hand and closed the door to my room. I went downstairs to the dining room where I found my brother eating his breakfast. Our parents weren't between us anymore so my older brother Adrius took all the responsibilities on himself.

Adrius was older then me and since he was the oldest one from my family which was just us two now, he took the our coven into his hands by becoming one of the youngest leaders. There weren't many close people to us in our coven but we were still a royalty because of our rich blood line but after an accident we lost a lot of people including mine and Adrius parents.

My brother looked up at me.

"You're running late sis" he told me as if I didn't know already. Man, not even Sherlock is as smart as you.

"Is that so Sherlock?" I asked and he rolled his eyes finding my undeniably funny joke not as funny as anyone else would. I stole one oh his pancakes and he threw his hands in the air.

"Hey! Stop stealing my food." Adri yelled whole I smirked at him making my way towards the front door. "Hey! Don't just walk away you little shit!" He yelled again as I was already standing at the front door as I was about to open them."Love you brother!" I yelled back as I opened the door, hearing his last words. "Love you too and don't forget to trip on a way to school" He yelled the words I love you as always, however I pissed him off because he knew that anything could happened and if it did he could regret it.

"That was one time!" I grumbled as I closed the door behind me. I hate him sometimes but he is my brother.

I was on my way to mine, Steve's and Bucky's meet spot where I was meeting them everyday. It was right in front of the alley we first met in. I could see them waiting for me already as I approached them waving and smiling at them. My boys. They were smiling and waving back at me until I didn't stop in front of them.

"Good morning sunshine. What were you doing so long? We were waiting on you." James asked me as he hugged me. "Good morning to you too sweetheart. But I was preparing since if you want to look like me, you need to take care of yourself." I pointed to my face and body with little smile. "You can't just spit on your hand and run it through your hair if you want to look decent." I finished now giving a quick hug to Steve too.

"You wound me doll." He said with a offended look as he touched his heart. "Yeah, yeah whatever. Hi Stevie how are ya?" I asked Steve as we broke our quick hug. He was waiting for me she Bucky to stop arguing.

"Good morning to you too Y/n. I'm good thank you." He said with smile on his face.

I looked at my watch.
"I think we should go if we don't want to be late."

And with that we took off to school.

We were at a break. Me, James and Steve were sitting around table and talking. Bucky was talking about some nerdy stuff. Even if he was a playboy he had a heart of a nerd that was crazy about fantasy books and astrology and other things.

And I liked it about him cause I liked that stuff too. I needed to know about astrology because that was my job as witch. I needed to know runes and stars but when someone in my coven talked about it. It was just not interesting.

But when Bucky talked about it with such a passion I just couldn't do anything. It was suddenly very interesting.

We heard the ringing of our bell so we took off to our class.

It was a hard day but at least we are ending our school this summer.

It was a Friday night so we went out.

We went to a lake. We had a lot of fun.

We were splashing water at each other and doing some other funny stuff just three friends at a lake.

After some time it got more chilly so we went out of water I was now in my clothes shivering.

Bucky noticed so he took off his jacket and gave it to me.

"Thank you" I smiled at him.

"You're welcome doll." He said.

We sat there like that in silence. Just me Steve and Bucky.

After a while Steve said he needs to go home. I wanted to walk him home but he said
"No it's okay you just stay here."

So I nodded. Before he walked away he waved at us and send a wink to Bucky.

Now me and Bucky sat in silence just watching a sunset.

He got closer to me and I lay my head on his shoulder.

"I have to tell you something." He broke our comfortable silence. I hummed in response.

"But I'm scared it might ruin our friendship which I don't want." And here I got worried.

'What could ruin our friendship?' I asked myself.

I took my head off his shoulder and he looked at me. He was kinda sweaty and nervous.

I didn't know why but he was.

"Just tell me what it is." I told him in sweetly.

"You know your my best friend?" I nodded "yeah and I love you but I also really really like you." He said very fast.

"I love you too James and your my best friend but how you like me? Elaborate." I asked. I could read his mind and I knew what he wanted to tell. I never looked in his mind but now I thought it was a best moment to do that because he was very nervous and pale.

"I like you more then just a friend and I want to do something about it and I don't know what cause if you don't like me back I don't know what I'm gonna do-" he started to ramble so I put my finger on his mouth to silently tell him to shut up.

He looked at me with worried eyes and I just smiled at him.

"I like you too." I told him in sweet but also shy tone.

He smiled at me and took my finger off his mouth.

"Can I kiss you?" He asked shyly. I don't even know how
Mr. Confident could be shy around girl but he was.

"Yes you can." I nodded.

He leaned in and kissed me it was a slow kiss. He wasn't sure if it was okay so he softly run his tongue on my lower lip. And I gladly opened it a little. He took my waist and pulled my closer.

I sat on his lap and put my hands around his neck.

Kiss was slow but deep and passionate.

We slowly pulled away to catch our breath.

We were looking into each other eyes and then lips again we started to kiss it was more deep and messy now.

We were making out until we didn't hear some steps not so far away from us. We pulled away and smiled at each other.

That day I became his and he became mine.
