Chapter 37

We were on our way back. Confusion could be one word that was describing what the fuck was going on in my head. I saw images, people, heard names being called. It's a big mess now.

When we were back we were thrown into chairs almost immediately. I wanted to run but something was keeping me there. I want to get rid of it.

Winters arm was in repair by one of lab guys.

'Stevie!' said a voice in back of my head.

Who is Stevie or Steve?

"Witch, soldier mission report." said a guy in front of us.

We both stayed silent. I wanted to piss that guy off.

'Me and Bucky used to love pissing off people' again said a voice in my head.

Memories wanted to come back. But they couldn't and my brain was hurting.

"Mission report!" he said again.

"The guy on a bridge who was he?" Winter asked.

"Your target." he said.

"But we knew him." I said.

Hand collided with my and Winters cheek. I held my head upright not showing the pain.

"Take them into blender and start over." He said before he got out of room.

I went first then soldier. Words were said. Mission was told.

Memories...what happened?

Never mind.

We got into our gear and went towards our next location. Birdie and blondie should be there.

We saw them running somewhere. It's our showtime.

I went after blondie. I kicked him off a roof and then didn't see him after birdie took his somewhere. Birdie went after us next. Soldier attached rope to his wing and it fell off.

Bye bye birdie.

Me and soldier went to last carrier. We were waiting for captain there. Standing next to each other in front of console we saw Captain running towards us.

He stood in front of us.

"People are gonna die Y/n/n, Buck. I can't let that happened." He said as he was looking at us.

Our faces were blank but I knew soldier was effected as much as me with names.

We were staring at each other. Blondie looked at us with pity.

"Please don't make me do this." He practically begged.

I looked his deeper into his eyes. He lowered them a little at us.

I guess there will be fight.

Captain threw shield at me but soldier stepped in front of me shielding me while shield went into his metal arm. It bounced off to direction of blondie.

Captain or blondie went after us. He launched at soldier and me. We started to fight him off. He was in front of me trying to do something with his shield. I used my powers to hold his shield up and sent few blasts at him till one of them hit him.

He groaned. He banged me into my head with his shield and I flew into soldier that was behind me shooting at captain blondie.

We stood up from a ground. Soldier pulled out his knife and we launched at blondie again.

I was thrown away by captain. Soldier continued to fight. Somehow he took us down for few second just to type something into keyboard that was on panel.
