Liliana's eyes widened in disbelief. Liliana flashbacked to her talk with her sister. Can that be related to the thing that her sister wanted? But that doesn't explain how that would involve them. They weren't even in the city last night because that happened. Except-Liliana shook her head, ridding herself of the thought. "What kind of ridiculous little fantasy did you just read? What happened to the innocent till proven guilty spiel?"
"Look at that, the little pirate wants to continue the innocent act. Well, guess what, you can drop it because there was a witness. Your very own target," Another shipwright called out, "Iceberg survived and he told us everything. Now we're done talking. Get her men!"
They lunged themselves at Liliana without a second thought. Uncaring that she was a young girl, too blinded by their hatred and need for vengeance.
Liliana swung her arm at the first shipwright with an explosion of red. Launching him into the building as she twisted her body around. Knocking another off his feet whilst flipping another. With a red energy bolt, she blasted two into an oncoming group.
However, they kept lunging at her as Liliana desperately tried to keep them at bay. Grinding her teeth together, Liliana frantically looked around her. Not wanting to seriously injure anyone, Liliana debated running. But with no openings, she was in a bind.
Until a bunch was launched into the air, knocking out the rest of the shipwrights with ease. Liliana's hands tensed before they relaxed as she breathed a sigh of relief. "Zoro!"
"Lily!" Zoro yelled, before hurrying towards her, confusion clear in his eyes, "Where have you been? Also, do you know why we're suddenly being chased?"
"Family reunion-I'll explain later." Seeing the furrow in his brow, Liliana waved the subject away, more important topics to be discussed first. "For some strange reason, they think we tried to assassinate their mayor? Now they're out for blood."
"Why the hell do they think that?" Zoro snapped in frustration.
"I don't know!" Liliana yelled, her tone just as frustrated before she stiffened, her eyes shifted into red before melting into violet. "More are coming."
Zoro groaned as he raked his fingers through his hair. "Dammit! We can't fight an entire city hellbent on executing us. Especially when we don't even have an escape route out of here. First-Find Luffy and Nami. Hopefully, they'll have more information since they went to the shipyard earlier. Then we can figure out what we can do."
