𝕎ith a deep breath out Liliana raises her hands up, the red tendrils dancing around her hands. With practised moves, she twirled on her left foot, ending on her right as the red energy swirled around her, creating a tornado of pure pulsating energy around her. Bowing down with her hands outstretched, Liliana looks ahead at an unseen audience, her memories flooded with fire, ribbons and the beating of a drum, of ghostly images of a crowd that watches the invitation.
Suddenly, Liliana snaps out of her trance as she hears the cheers and the claps. Looking behind her, she sees Luffy jumping up and down, his signature wide smile on his face. "That's so cool!"
"You're amazing Lily-chan!" Sanji cheers with heart-eyes as a furious flush spread across his cheeks.
Liliana sweatdrops at the attention, not seeing the big deal. "It was nothing. I'm not even an expert at this, besides, Luffy, You've seen me do it multiple times," Liliana says with a wry grin, "With a lot more talented people than me."
Everyone was talking about their hometowns and the festivals they would have in their villages–except for Zoro who is currently napping–when Luffy revealed that Liliana knew how to play the drums and dance. After a lot of cajoling and convincing–mainly from Luffy–Liliana finally agreed to show everyone.
"So, is this what you would do at festivals in your village?" Usopp asks. have been watching Liliana dance as the energy danced around her, just like fire and light. It was mesmerising like he was watching the past through the dance.
"Yep! It's Liliana's fire dance thingy," Luffy answers, "However, Liliana is usually the one playing the drums."
"Fire dance and I'm not really the dancer. If anything this is meant to help control my devil power. Something like an anchor to focus my power and movements." Liliana smiled, tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear as looked down, "My mother taught me how to dance and play but I was never the dancer. That was my sister."
"Lily-chan has a sister!" Sanji ogled, imagining what Liliana's sister could look like. He could almost see what was long luxurious black hair and the bright violet eyes. Maybe she's taller than Liliana. "If someone like Lily-chan has a sister, she must be just as cute."
Liliana chuckles before her smile drops. "She is beautiful but I haven't seen her since I've decided to become a pirate. I wonder how she is."
"Lily! I have an idea!" Luffy yells, jumping up and down excitedly, breaking Liliana from her past.
