𝕊tanding at the stern of the ship, Usopp leans against the railing as the crew anxiously waits around for Luffy to strike a deal with the boss. Their worry and anxiety for their friend over the past week, mounting as she continues to be in the same blank state. Now with a sudden fog descending on the area, it didn't bode well for Usopp.

"We've been sitting around twiddling our thumbs for four days now," Usopp asks, irritated at the long wait, "How long do you think we're gonna be here anyway?"

"Who knows?" Zoro answers, sitting up against the ship's railing.

Throwing his hands to the ground, Usopp whines, "He said a year but I'm already so bored. If we could leave, it might help Lily."

Nami rolls her eyes at Usopp. "Quit whining. This place is great plus all the food here is free and we all know that Liliana won't leave her cousin."

"Yeah for you and Liliana it is," Zoro scowls.

Spotting Luffy carrying a gigantic trash bag in his arms, Usopp calls out to him, gaining his attention. "What are we still doing here?" Usopp barks out, "Come on, let's just get out of this place."

"Just sit tight a little longer. I'm gonna try and get another deal with the owner," Luffy answers.

"Well, hurry up!" Usopp demands, with a little bite to his voice. Looking towards the door to the girl's quarters, Usopp frowns. Liliana's state has subtly improved from the first day, but she stays in bed, only leaving for the bathroom and rarely saying anything. Suffice to say but the crew were really worried. They're worried that if things continue that her physical state could also go into a decline.

Usopp sighs once again, as the crew looks towards the horizon, their own worries mounting for two different reasons. Then their expressions change as something looms towards them through the thickness of the fog. With mounting degrees of horror as a large galleon that dwarfed the size of the restaurant finally approached, like a spectre of death straight from the grave.

From below the deck, lies a young girl, not yet seventeen, but already having witnessed too much and will continue to witness more. Liliana feels and hears everyone's horror through her muffled hearing. She knows she needs to fight. She knows she needs to help. She knows that she can't afford to stay here. Her friends need her.

No matter how much she wants a moment of peace

Fate was never kind enough to give her reprieve and maybe, it was exactly what she needed. A way to forget. For even a moment.

Just a single... Moment.

Ignoring herself and her needs, Liliana screws her eyes shut before sitting up. Her friends need her. She can't afford to stay behind. So, Liliana leaves the comfort of her room. She stifles her emotions. All her guilt and anguish before forcing herself to move forward.

Her friends need her.

Just as Zoro and Usopp leave, Liliana appears on the deck, covering her sensitive eyes from the blinding light. Squinting her eyes, Liliana finds Nami and approaches her as her eyes start to adjust to the sun. "Nami, what's going on?" Liliana asks, voice hoarse from the inaction that this week has brought.

Turning around in surprise, Nami looks at the girl who seems to snap out of a depressive episode. Walking towards Liliana with concern, giving her once over, seeing the pale skin, and slight dark circles. "Liliana, are you ok?"

Waving off her concern with a gentle wave of her hand, she notices the huge galleon in front of her. "I have a feeling that I'm needed."

"Liliana, this is no time to go rushing in to save the day. Let Luffy, Zoro and Usopp handle it," Nami scolds, "You only just got out of bed or did you forget?"

Liliana winces in response, before giving Nami a reassuring smile. "I know I have but I need the distraction and this is what I need. I'll be fine," Liliana assures Nami, "Just take care of the ship."

Nami looks at Liliana with disbelieving eyes. Moving forward to stop Liliana, however, relents, silently knowing that it's something that she needs to do. Nami knew that feeling all too well. "Go to the second-storey window. You should be able to find Usopp and Zoro along the way."

Giving Nami a grateful smile, Liliana walks away. However, before Liliana can disembark from the boat, she turns towards Nami, already knowing what she is about to do. "Nami, I just wanted to remind you of something. I said to you that we're friends and that if you ever need something all you have to do is ask," Liliana smiles, giving her a knowing look, "Make sure the ship is ok after all it was a gift from a friend."

With that, Liliana flies up towards the second storey of the ship leaving Nami dumbstruck by the young girl's permission and kindness.

Coming across stairs leading into the dining area, Liliana creeps down as the voices start to get louder and louder. Stopping just a little ways away from Usopp and Zoro just as Don Krieg leaves, unnoticed by everyone in the room, including Usopp and Zoro.

"I'm so sorry Sanji. I never thought it would be this way," a bloodied man kneeling on the ground near the front door says.

"You have nothing to apologise for, sailor," an old man with a huge chef's hat and a moustache responds to everyone's confusion. That must be the head chef I've heard so much about, Liliana wonders to herself, leaning against the wall out of sight of everyone below. "Every cook at this restaurant did what they thought was right. That's all there is to say about that."

"But boss! Why are you acting as if you're taking Sanji's side? This mess is his fault," A big burly man argued as the rest of the chefs agreed with him, much to the Head Chef's annoyance.

"YOU FOOLS DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!" The head chef roared out, silencing everyone, "None of you have any idea what it's like to be on the brink of starvation. To have no food or water in the open ocean. There is no way you could possibly understand what a terrifying prospect that is. It's the most difficult situation a man could ever face." Liliana cocks her head in sadness, sensing that there was a background story to what the Head Chef was saying as everyone muttered out their confusion.
