Crybaby wakes up the next morning to find the bed empty. After putting on her pink bunny slippers and freshing up in the bathroom, she walks into the kitchen to see Ben and Rudy making breakfast together.
"You two look adorable with your little aprons on." Crybaby coddled, giving them both a kiss on the cheek
"I would argue with that, but I can't because I look adorable in whatever I wear." Rudy blushed
"Go wash that flour off your face before mom starts lecturing us." Ben tells him, ruffling his hair before letting him leave the kitchen
"So how are things going between you two?" Crybaby asks
"So far, pretty good. I helped him with some leftover homework earlier. I don't understand how the kid is practically a genius, but he gets frustrated when it comes to math." Ben sighs
"Well, it is a tough subject. I don't blame him for getting frustrated. What's the substitute chef making today?" Crybaby said, her tone growing eager
"How about I make you pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries?" Ben asks, watching her eyes light up with joy
"Add bananas, sugar and some syrup, you've got yourself a deal." Crybaby chirps
"You drive a hard bargain but I think I can do that." Ben tells her, tickling her underneath her chin
Angela comes out of her room groaning like an elderly person, still wearing her pajamas. Her hair was a mess and it looked like she hasn't slept all night.
"You might as well become the head chef in this place. You're obviously a better cook than mom." Angela murmurs, wiping the sleep from her eyes
"I heard that." Doris says, slapping her daughter on the head with a magazine
"Come on, it's too early for that." Angela whines, throwing her head down on the counter
"Girl, hurry up and get dressed so I could take you and your brother to the bus stop." Doris demands
"Why can't you drive us to school like all the other parents do with their children? The kids on the bus are a nuisance, especially Carrie." Angela grunts, clenching her jaw at the mention of her name
"You act like your life is so tough. This new generation has it good. We had to walk to school back in the day and trust me when I tell you, it was not a short walk." Doris says before walking back into her room
"Sometimes I wonder if Angela goes both ways." Rudy whispers to Crybaby, who was coughing up her orange juice
"Shut up Rudy!" Angela threatens
"We're going to have this conversation at some point in your life." Rudy shrugged
"That's never going to happen." Angela argued, stomping out of the room
"I only said that because of how close she is with Scarlett. Not to mention, her and Carrie have a bit of a love hate relationship." Rudy says
"Rudy, our sister is not bisexual. Even if she was, I'm sure she wouldn't tell us." Ben laughed
"Hey, I'll love her regardless of who she is." Rudy said, putting his hands up in surrender
"You're too much." Crybaby cackled
"Angela's bisexual?" Calvin asks, getting up from the couch
"No, we're just talking." Crybaby assures him
"Hey, no judgement if she is. There's nothing wrong with having a little fun from time to time." Calvin chuckled
"Have y'all heard from Missy lately?" Rudy asks, nervously twiddling his thumbs
