Athanasia looked around the room. All she could see are flint black. It was just utter nothing. 'I am in the afterlife?' she thought as she tried to get up but failed. 'What a weird place if it is the afterlife.'

However, it was impossible if it is the afterlife. It is already stated that if a person dies, they will go first to the sacred world tree and be purified, then, they'll be reborn again. So Athanasia pushed her thoughts away as she just realized something and looked at her body.

'What the— Aren't i supposed to be dead? What happened?' She questioned herself as she held at the railings of the crib. 'And why am i in the body of a child?'

Due to her confusion, Athanasia can't help herself but to sob and cry. It was either of sadness because of how her father abandoned her, or because of happiness that she's alive. But either way, she's happy that she's alive.

Footsteps suddenly noised the echoe-y room as a brunette entered Athanasia's room. Athanasia became guarded as the lady softly carried her and cooed her.

"Oh my. Why is our little princess crying, huh? Is it a nightmare?" the lady softly lulled as she carried her like a motherly she is.

And that's when Athanasia realized that she came back from time. She returned back from time when she was a young baby. Athanasia cried even more as she held to Lilian, the only person that cared for her throughout her whole life, and the person who entered her room.

'Lily..' Athanasia thought as she cried even more, making the nanny became worried even more. 'Even though i'm older mentally, i can't stop myself from crying. Lily.. I missed you, Lily.'

Lilian, the princess' nanny, never seen the princess cried this much. She didn't knew what to do, seeing the princess little hands held her tightly. All she could do was softly sang her a lullaby and carried the little princess softly. 'I wonder what happened for the princess to cry this much.. It must've been a really bad nightmare.' is what's on Lilian's mind.

Athanasia cried for several hours. Making her eyes puffy, and her mind tired throughout the whole day. She even got a light fever because of it. Of course, she rested herself.

The maids gently took care of the little princess, as the princess recover from her puffy eyes and light fever, she finally turned back to her normal state.

'So, i returned back in time.. But how?' Athanasia thought while she's walking around her crib with her hands on it. She's practicing to walk. 'It is really confusing, now that i think about it.'

Sure, she returned back in time. But can she do anything? Jennette will still come to the palace and take all of his dear father's love. 'Father..'

"Such a thing won't happen 'til the day i die."

A memory flashed through her eyes as a lone tear fell on her eyes, making her fall down to the floor. 'Why is father so unfair? I am his daughter too.' Athanasia silently sobbed as she wiped her tears from her cheeks. 'I hate this. There is no point of crying over a mere true fact.' Athanasia thought as she stood up using the crib as her support. 'That is right. If somehow, some God or a person gave me this one chance. I won't waste it on a person that will never notice me. I won't waste it by trying everything i could to have his attention, when Jennette just took it after a few seconds. I will be silently live here in my Ruby Palace with Lilian and live a long life!'

And by that, the forgotten princess made her one and only plan. To live silently, and to never ask for her father's love, once again. For it only made her be in pain because of a harsh truth.

"There was never a day I considered you as my daughter."

That is right. So if he never have thought of her as his own daughter, then in this life, there will be no day throughout her whole life she'll think of Claude de Alger Obelia as his father. But only as the person who killed her.
