Claude were to walk at the Emerald Palace, as he saw Felix frantically looking around for something. Claude was about to call Felix when he and Felix heard a scream, coming from the Ruby Palace.

"Someone!! Her Highness was attacked by Princess Jennette!!" A maid screamed in fright as he immediately ran towards the palace, and Felix ran behind him.

There, he can see Jennette being held down by knights as Athanasia was being held by Lily. His heart suddenly palpitated as he saw Athanasia's body unconscious. He immediately went to Athanasia as he heard Lily's cry.

Claude held Athanasia's wrist, trying to find a pulse in her. He can hear Felix ordering the knights to call the doctors and Lucas as he tried to heal her with his magic. He did it, so many times. But all he could feel were Athanasia's unmoving body.

"Athanasia.." he muttered his daughter's name as he hugged her tightly. Soon after, Lucas came and saw the scene. He was almost enraged, but the fact the Claude was trying to hard to heal a dead body was making it worst.

Athanasia de Alger Obelia had died.

"Have you heard it?"
"What?"
"The Crown Princess was killed!"
"Princess Athanasia? What happened?!"
"Everyone said that she was killed by her own sister.. Almost everyone can't believe it too.. I knew that she can't be trusted."
"Yeah.. The Emperor was so enraged that he declared to behead everyone that supported her!"
"Still.. Poor princess."
"There's also that young warlock of the Black Tower. He was the princess' childhood friend, and he was devastated so much that he immediately killed Rosalia."
"Oh my!"
"And what's more, is that, there's a rumor that Princess Jennette might not be Emperor Claude's daughter but the tyrant's."
"The former emperor?"
"Yes."

Chatters can be heard from a distance as everyone mourned their Lovely Princess' death. It was painful, to have such young and talented princess to die. Every noble who have met Athanasia were crying. It was a tragic end for the young, Lovely Princess.

No matter what everyone do, all Athanasia can meet is tragedy. May Claude love her or shun her out, no matter the situation.. It's always her who die.

As the golden casket of the crown princess were to shine, there can be seen the people who've cherished the princess as their own. And one of them being her father.

Lucas, on the other hand.. He wanted to have the pain gone. Now, he realized, this was what his master have meant. And it's no wonder that his master wanted him to never feel the feeling of grief. Because, he himself, can't explain the feeling of what he can do.

Albeit the situation, everyone was terrified of the Emperor's state of mind as of the moment. They didn't know when, or where he'll start the massacre. It was like, the calm before the storm. Surely enough, the eerie silence of the Emperor was making everyone wary.

Lucas and The Emperor stayed infront of the casket. The two were to just stare at Athanasia's dead cold body. Hoping it were to move.. Hoping it was all just a dream.

"Why are you still here, warlock?" said the Emperor in his cold voice, not even sparing Lucas a glance.

The warlock sighed as his blank face turned to the Emperor. "It's Black Magic."

"I know."

"So you know too.." Lucas paused. Looking back at it now, it was his fault for letting Athanasia out of Felix' sight. If only he didn't call Felix, maybe.. Maybe Athanasia was still there. "She was a weird person."

"How dare—"

Lucas cutted off the Emperor. "She was all about this, time reverse magic. Always asking me stupid question about time that defies logic, and the law of the universe that i can't help myself to think that maybe she returned back in time." he explained in a low voice. "So.. I've investigated it."

"And she did?"

"That.. I can't confirm. But recently, while reading some old texts that my master had left, i found something that i can't understand. A language i've never seen. So i asked myself, in another timeline." Lucas explained once again, as Claude just stared at him with an unexplainable expression. Is it disbelief or shock? That, Lucas can't decipher. Just like Athanasia, he can't decipher what she's been thinking. "And so, i finally figured it out."

".. And you're planning something that is involving me in return?" Claude turned to Lucas, as he simply nodded. "Very well.. If you must."

"Father—!!"
