Chapter 20

After getting out of bed and getting dressed up in the same clothes as yesterday, Hyunjin and Felix both went out of the hotel to shop for some clothes as they had left all their belonging back in Korea. With just a phone and a passport, they came to Tokyo on a whim. Although hyunjin himself took only ten minutes to decide on his clothes, he was being extremely picky with Felix's outfit.

Finally, after going through the whole showroom, they brought their clothes and returned to the hotel for having their lunch. After having their lunch, Felix went ahead and called his members to talk to them about his situation but he was surprised when no one seemed mad at him. They all were acting as usual and they even started teasing Felix about his date at some point in the call.

As they both were leaving after finishing their lunch, someone tapped hyunjin on the back which made him turn his head around in irritation. The whole day they were being approached by strangers as some were able to identify Felix and it honestly frustrated hyunjin to no end. Although he understood the meaning of having a fanbase and doing fan service, he couldn’t understand why people think it’s alright to pry on their idols or celebrities' private life.

Thinking that it was probably one of those fans, hyunjin turned around to say something but was surprised when he saw the face that was in front of him. It was jungkook, his older brother’s friend and also his mentor of sorts.

“Hey, long time no see. What are you doing here?” asked jungkook

“Hello hyung, it has indeed been a long time. I am here on a personal visit but what are you doing here?”

“I was here because your brother asked me to. Honestly, I didn’t want to come but who can refuse your ever charming brother.” Said jungkook with a sigh

As they were conversing, Felix was just standing behind hyunjin awkwardly not knowing what to do. He tugged on the hem of hyunjins shirt to let him know about his situation which didn’t go unnoticed by hyunjin.

“Oh, let me introduce you. This is Felix--” Hyunjin was cut off midsentence when jungkook suddenly lunged forward and embraced Felix into a warm yet awkward hug.

“So, this is my future brother in law…sweet.” Said jungkook while letting go of Felix and giving a sly smile at his sentence.

“wha..what? who said that to you? how?”

“Obviously your brother is the one who said that to me. I was honestly looking forward to meeting with him after your brother described him as the cutest and I must say, he lives up to the hype.” Said jungkook

“Hello, I am Felix, an idol in JYP entertainment and hyunjin’s boyfriend.” Said Felix as he bowed and introduced himself

“No need to be so formal Felix, you are family now.” Said jungkook while winking at both of them

“Now wait a minute. From when are you family with us? Is there anything I don’t know hyung?” Said hyunjin with a smirk fully knowing the backstory between jungkook and taehyung.

“Shut up already. But what are you doing here? Only a few days back you were in Korea.”

“We are on our first date which I planned within five minutes because my sweet lovely boyfriend here was angry with me because someone else tried to flirt with me. that’s what happened yesterday.” Said hyunjin with a sly smile fully knowing that Felix was burning crimson red with every word of his sentence.

“You...You…” was all Felix could say before sighing and accepting his defeat. Hyunjin was definitely mischievous.

“So what you are telling me is that you both came to Tokyo just for your first date and because he was angry? God, you are such a rich brat but at least you are a romantic rich brat.” Said jungkook who was laughing out to his heart’s content after looking at both their expressions.

After they all chatted for some more time, it was time for jungkook to leave because unlike the couple there, he was actually on a business trip. After jungkook left the couple to bask in each other’s presence, Felix couldn’t help but express his curiosity about the guy.

“Who was that hyunjin?”           
              
“That was jungkook hyung. He is also a board member in the KIMs enterprise and my brother's trusted man. And also the not-so-secret admirer of taehyung hyung.” Said hyunjin while laughing at the last part of his sentence.

It was now evident to Felix that sooner or later jungkook was going to be a part of his family. But then suddenly he cursed himself mentally for getting too ahead of himself when they were just on their first date. But then his thoughts cascaded into a spiral way of the web-like questions. Will hyunjin like to have a family with him? Will hyunjin ever want to marry him? Will hyunjin’s brother accept him? But before he could venture out all of the worst-case scenarios, Felix was brought to his attention when hyunjin shook him by his shoulders after he didn’t answer his questions.

“Wha.. what did you say? Sorry I couldn’t hear.” Said Felix while scratching the back of his neck

“I asked if you want to rest for a bit now. We will go on our date in the evening.”

“Can we do that? I am really tired and want to rest for a bit.” Said Felix with his puppy doe eyes

“Of course sunshine. Let’s go”

“Stop calling me those nicknames.” Said Felix who was taken aback by the sudden nickname presented to him

“Don’t you like it? Did I do anything wrong?” asked hyunjin a bit worried

“No..No you did nothing wrong. But you just come up with all these sweet romantic nicknames which make my heart do somersaults in my body and I don’t know how long I can keep on doing this.” Said Felix who was a bit embarrassed by now after explaining his situation.

“Oh, that’s all? Then you don’t have to worry. I will be here to hold you if something happens to you. is that alright sunshine?” said hyunjin while pacing his elbows on the table and then his face on his hand. He honestly looked extremely cute right now.

“Fine fine. I guess I have to prepare myself for your sweet attacks.” Said Felix finally giving up

After taking a short nap in the afternoon to get rid of their tiredness, hyunjin and Felix finally woke up and got ready for their first proper date in the evening. Although their first date was supposed to be a simple hangang riverside date, it was not considered due to the actions of the cashier which made Felix uncomfortable. So they both decided that today would be the first date and they were not going to let anyone else ruin it.

After getting out of the hotel and driving for some time, they finally reached a place that looked like a park. Although the rest of the street was packed with people, the park was completely empty and it didn’t take much time for Felix to understand what hyunjin had done.

Although he wanted to talk to hyunjin about him spending his money recklessly, he didn’t want to bring down the mood right now and therefore decided to postpone the lecture for a few days.

“Where are we hyunjin?”

“We are at inokashira park, Felix. You do know that we are in Tokyo during the sakura season, don’t you? So I thought it would be the best place to enjoy cherry blossoms and also our first date as a couple.”

Felix couldn’t help but blush at the mention of them being a couple. Although people would expect Felix to already have gotten used to this feeling, he wasn’t and hyunjin made him feel things, he didn’t know he could feel. And it certainly didn’t help that hyunjin was an attentive, caring, and sweet boyfriend. But his thoughts suddenly came to a halt when hyunjin said something which he certainly didn’t expect right now.

“Close your eyes, Felix.”
