Chapter 25

It had been nearly a week since everyone arrived in Australia and now they were getting ready to go back to Korea as they couldn’t miss out on more events than they already did. Although Felix wanted to stay behind for some more time, he was persuaded by his parents to go back to work and not worry about things here as everything was alright now.

Felix and hyunjin were given the same room to live in as a thing of consideration from Felix’s parents but what they didn’t know was that this made their son shyer than he already was. Although Felix was in a relationship with hyunjin, it was still evident that he was always shy when they were alone as it was something he hadn’t experienced before. As they were packing their belongings before going to the airport, Hyunjin noticed that Felix was a bit down from his usual self.

“Hey, are you okay? You don’t look so good.” said hyunjin while taking Felix's hand and making him sit on the bed while he himself crouched in front of him

“I am okay hyunjin, it’s just that I don’t want to leave so soon. I am still a bit worried about my mom.” Answered Felix

“It will be okay Felix. Your mom will be alright, you heard the doctor yourself. Don’t worry about that. But if you really want to stay for some more days then I can do something. Do you want to stay behind?” asked hyunjin

“I would love to stay for some more days but I also know that my parents will feel guilty if I miss out on my work and that is what I don’t want right now. So it's okay, I will come with you today. But thank you for your consideration.” Said Felix with a smile

“By the way, I wanted to ask you something. Why do you keep on drawing lines between us? You talk so casually with everyone, yet you talk so formally with me. It makes me wonder if you are uncomfortable around me. Did I do anything wrong?” asked hyunjin

“It’s not that you did anything wrong and I am not uncomfortable at all. I just feel a bit awkward having a boyfriend and talking sweetly with him.” Said Felix who was yet again feeling shy but this time hyunjin didn’t let him have his way and hugged him in his waist.

Hyunjin had his head pressed against Felix’s abdomen and his hands wrapped around it. Felix was shocked to say the least, although hyunjin had tried to establish some form of physical contact a few times, he always stopped midway as if debating whether to do it or not. But this time not only did he proceed completely, but he was also hugging Felix as if his life depended on it.

“Wha…what are you doing hyunjin?” asked Felix who was feeling the blood rush up to his cheeks

“Hugging my boyfriend.” Was all hyunjin said

“oh.”

They both stayed like that for a few minutes before hyunjin broke off the silence and asked Felix to do something.

“Ca...Can you pat my head?” asked hyunjin who was almost embarrassed acting like this but for Felix it was a sight to see.

Hyunjin never acted cute in front of anyone. He was always this strong-headed, stone-faced businessman. Although Felix was taken aback by the request, he still decided to comply with it as he also wanted to do something like this with hyunjin but didn’t get the courage after seeing hyunjin being so formal with everyone. After Felix patted hyunjin’s head for some time, he finally stopped to see if hyunjin will now let him go from his hug but not surprisingly, he was still hugging him.

“Can I ask another thing from you, Felix?”

“You are already hugging me like a koala. Go ahead and ask away.”

“Can you not call me Hyunjin all the time when we are in private? It feels distant at times and I don’t like that feeling. Call me anything you like but not my full name.” requested hyunjin

“Then what should I call you? Do you want a nickname?”

“I would love a nickname from you.” said hyunjin

“Then how about Jin or jinnie?” asked Felix while smiling at his boyfriend acting cute

“I love that name. Then I will call you lix or lixxie. It’s so cute.” Said hyunjin while looking up into Felix's eyes with his puppy doe eyes

“You know that you are acting really cute right now, don’t you? it’s unexpected of you honestly.”

“I figured that for you to be more comfortable in talking casually with me, first I have to treat you like that so I am trying my best here.”

“Awww, my boyfriend is so sweet and considerate.” Said Felix while pinching hyunjin’s cheeks which earned him a small huff from the other

After some time of staying in each other’s embrace, they figured that if they didn’t pack soon, they would be late for their flight. Although hyunjin wanted to take everyone on his private flight, Felix didn’t want him to call a plane from Korea just to pick them up and so they decided to go on a commercial plane. After they both finished packing their bags, they left the room and went down the stairs to the dining room where everyone was waiting for them to come.

“Here comes the lovebirds.” Said minho which started a small cheering session among the group which included Felix’s parents.

“Next time, it might be a better idea to close the doors before being all over each other.” Commented seungmin while laughing at his statement

Felix turned red in an instant as it was evident from the statement that everyone knew what they were doing just now and Hyunjin really liked the sight in front of him.

“Now, let’s not embarrass them any further. I think it’s time for you all to go to the airport or you all will miss your flight.” Said, Mr. Lee

“You are right. I didn’t even see the time. Let’s move everyone.” Said chan in a hurry

As everyone left the dining room and made their way to the doorway, the helpers of the house got busy with putting away everyone’s bags in the car’s trunk and a series of goodbyes could be heard in the house. A few tears were also shed between Felix and his mom. And then came the turn of hyunjin to say goodbye to Felix’s parents and although he didn’t show it, he was emotional. He really liked the time he had spent with Felix’s parents and he respected them a lot.

“It was a pleasure to meet you, ma’am.” Said hyunjin while bowing down politely

“Now Now, I told you to call me mom, not ma’am. Don’t be so formal before you leave.” Said Mrs. Lee Jokingly

“I will miss you Hyunjin.” Said Mrs. Lee while proceeding to hug the man which made hyunjin a little shocked but he soon returned the hug

“I will also miss you, Mom.” Said hyunjin

“Heyyy... It’s not fair. I also want a hug.” Whined Felix who was looking fondly at his boyfriend hugging his mom

“Oh, you are such a big baby. Come here.” Said Mrs. Lee before engulfing her son in a tight hug along with hyunjin

“Now, if you all are done with your emotional parade, I think they should go now. They will be late darling.” Said Mr. lee while taking away his wife to relieve the boys from the death grab

After the goodbyes were completed and everyone got in the car, they began to drive away for the airport and they were lucky that they made it to the final call. After comfortably seating themselves in their business seats, Hyunjin went ahead and grabbed Felix’s hands who was seating just beside him, and intertwined their fingers before drifting off to sleep.

Hyunjin while in his sleep was thinking about the things that had transpired within a few days and he felt himself lucky to be able to hold Felix’s hands. He promised himself that he will never let go of his hands and always work towards the relationship they both had built. This trip was a catalyst for hyunjin to be sure that he will live only for Felix, that he loved him more than anyone
