Chapter 28

“Do you want to spend the night in my home?”

As soon as Hyunjin said those words, Felix couldn’t help but gape at him. He certainly didn’t expect such a question from hyunjin and was not sure what to answer. Felix was panicking inside and it was evident that he was confused about the proposition. So hyunjin tried to clarify himself and not make things more awkward than they already were.

“I just asked that because all your members have gone to their home and you are alone and I thought you didn’t want to be alone. I don’t have any thoughts of doing anything, trust me. But if you don’t want to come, then also it’s alright. I am not going to force you to come to my house so it’s up to you.” rambled hyunjin under one breath to clarify his question

“uhhhh…I- I guess—sure.” Said Felix with crimson cheeks

“You are not being considerate of me, right? You don’t have to if you don’t want to.” Said Hyunjin

“I am sure. I would like to spend the night at your home.” Said Felix while stepping into the elevator and closing the doors.

Although hyunjin asked the question, he couldn’t help but be surprised at Felix agreeing to stay with him. He was certainly excited and happy but he couldn’t show it as he thought it would make Felix think of him as a pervert. As they both reached Hyunjin’s door and entered the home, Felix saw that nothing had changed from the last time he was here except one thing.

Now, Hyunjin had some photos put up on the wall of the living room and as Felix went near them to take a closer look, he was shocked to find that those were photos of his and Hyunjin’s vacation in Los Angeles and Japan. Hyunjin had actually taken the time to print some photos and decorated them on the wall. Felix was touched by this and was about to go and hug hyunjin when the said man himself came up to him and back hugged him.

“What are you doing here, love?” asked hyunjin

“I was just looking at the pictures. Why did you print so many of them and why are they in the living room. Anyone could see those.” Said Felix whose cheeks were on fire by now

“I wanted to see you before I left home every day and that is the most visible place in the whole house and don’t worry, no one comes to my house. You and your group members are the only people to have ever come up here.” Said hyunjin

“You are so sweet and romantic at times. Ufff… How did I get such a perfect boyfriend?” said Felix while sighing and simultaneously turning around and pinching hyunjin’s cheeks which earned him a huff from the other and as retaliation, hyunjin hugged Felix more tightly than before.

“Now now, let’s not get too carried away. We need to have our dinner, you remember that?” asked Felix

“Of course, I remember that, love. I will be cooking today so tell me anything you want to eat.”

“Then can you please cook me some risotto?”

“Certainly sir, your risotto will soon be prepared by the MasterChef Hwang hyunjin himself but until its prepared, please take a seat and watch some television.” Said hyunjin while grabbing Felix’s hand and leading him to the sofa for him to sit.

“Then please tell my chef to prepare it quickly as I am famished.” Said Felix while laughing at hyunjin for the sudden role play.

After some time when Hyunjin was done cooking the dish and setting up the table, he called out to Felix to come to the dining room. But before Felix could come inside, hyunjin went to the door and closed Felix’s eyes with his hands.

“Wha… What are you doing jinnie?” asked Felix

“Hush, don’t say anything, and just let me guide you somewhere.” Said hyunjin in a breathy manner in Felix’s ears which gave chills to him.

After taking a few steps, they finally stopped and hyunjin took away his hand for Felix to see what he had planned. It took a few seconds for Felix to realize what was happening but when he did, he was extremely surprised. Hyunjin had prepared a candlelight dinner for both of them in front of the large glass window overlooking the Hangang River. With the city lights in the distance and the river reflecting the moon, the place was just perfect for a date.

Felix was touched very much because he had just asked for a simple dinner of risotto but hyunjin made it special by making it a dinner date. He felt grateful and was on the verge of tears.

“Thank you. Thank you so much for this hyunjin. I honestly didn’t expect this. This is so beautiful.” Said Felix while looking at hyunjin’s eyes

“I am glad you liked it. I wanted to take you on a date but we both were always too busy to make time for anything apart from the ordinary, so I had planned this for quite some time but today the opportunity arose and I didn’t want to waste it.”

“I am glad that you did it. It is so beautiful. Thank you.”

“Now, let’s eat, shall we?” asked hyunjin before pulling out one of the chairs at the table for Felix to sit at
Felix sat in the chair and couldn’t help but admire how much of a sweetheart Hyunjin was being right now.

Felix was feeling the butterflies again and he realized that with hyunjin, there won’t be a single day that wouldn’t be special. Being with Hyunjin made everything special for him. After they both finished eating the meal, Hyunjin asked Felix what he thought about the food.

“So, was that to your liking, sir?” asked hyunjin with a smirk

“It certainly was, please give my compliments to the chef.” Answered Felix while laughing

“I think you should be the one to tell him, sir.”

“But how? I don’t know anything abo--” Felix was cut off when Hyunjin suddenly leaned over the table and kissed him on the lips. Although it was a chaste kiss, it made Felix flustered yet again.

“Your compliments have been effectively passed, sir.” Said hyunjin after pulling back and smiling from ear to ear.

“You’re crazy.” Said Felix while laughing before getting up and running away from the dining room.

“I know I am crazy, but I am crazy just for you.” yelled hyunjin from the dining room

Although Felix had left the room, he could still clearly hear what hyunjin had said. Felix was happy and was smiling to himself the whole time afterwards. He liked the way hyunjin made him feel, the way he talked, and the way he expressed his love. All in all, he was certain that hyunjin was the best choice he had ever made in his life. He was glad to be able to call hyunjin, his. His hyunjin, his boyfriend.

After some time, Hyunjin came out of the kitchen after finally wrapping up the dishwashing and tidying the place. As they both then made their way to the bedroom, a question suddenly popped up in both of their head which they didn’t think about before. Where are they going to sleep? Are they going to sleep together? Is he okay with me sleeping with him?

Although they had slept in the same bed previously during their trip to Japan, the circumstances were a bit different now. The tension was clearly evident in the air and it didn’t help that Hyunjin had one bedroom. As all these thoughts were going around in their minds, Hyunjin couldn’t help but ask the obvious to Felix.

“Are you comfor--”

“Let’s sleep in the bed; Together.”
