Chapter 30

As the sun shone bright and lit up the room where Hyunjin and Felix were still sleeping, Hyunjin woke up from his slumber and tried to move his hands but he felt his left hand being completely numb due to something. He felt a weight shift on his hand and that's when it dawned on him that Felix was sleeping while using his hand as a pillow. Hyunjin shifted a bit on the bed and he was now facing Felix who was still snuggling to his chest.

While seeing Felix like that, hyunjin felt a strange feeling inside him. He felt immeasurable warmth, love, and care for the guy that was sleeping and he remembered all the moments they had shared from the beginning. He remembered how happy he was when he saw Felix at the company, how ecstatic he was when he saw Felix smiling at him and how happy he was when Felix became his friend. Hyunjin tried to withdraw his hand but it was all in vain.

Finally giving up, he then redirected his focus to the ethereal features of the sleeping boy. He noticed that Felix's nose was scrunched up a bit as if he was agitated, and his lips formed a small pout when he slept. Felix looked cuter when he was sleeping and Hyunjin knew that now. After some time of staring at him, Felix finally woke up. But the first thing he realized was the closeness between him and hyunjin and yet again his cheeks started turning red.

"Good morning, sunshine." Said Hyunjin in a sweet manner

"Good morning hyunjin." Said Felix who was hiding his embarrassment

"You look cute when you sleep." Said hyunjin which turned Felix into a blushing mess. His cheeks turned redder if that was even possible

"ahhh... stop flirting all the time." Whined Felix

"What did I do? I am not flirting. I am just stating that my boyfriend is beautiful and that is a fact." Said hyunjin with a smug look on his face. He knew the effect his words had on the other and he was in no mood to let go of him that easily.

"But aside from that, are you okay?" asked hyunjin in a concerned voice

"I am okay jinnie. Don't worry about me." answered Felix with a reassuring smile.

"How can I not worry after everything we did? I am really sorry if I did anything wrong."

"You did nothing wrong, you had my consent and I was ready. You didn't gaslight me or guilt trip me into doing any of that so don't worry about that. I am a grown sane adult jinnie."

"Fine, but if it pains too much then tell me and we will go and see a doctor, okay? Promise that to me."

"I promise you. Don't worry about this. But don't you have to go to the office? Why are you here?"

"I took a leave to take care of my very cute and sweet boyfriend and I am going to spend my entire day with him." Said hyunjin as he rubbed his nose on Felix's cheeks

"Uffff... I don't know what I did to deserve such a loving boyfriend." Said Felix while wiping away his nonexistent tears.

"Now now. Don't get too dramatic." Said hyunjin with a chuckle which earned him a hit in the arms

'Should we freshen up now?" asked hyunjin

"Yes, let's go and freshen up." Said Felix while getting up but he was soon stopped in his tracks when he felt hyunjin's hand going below his legs and another hand behind his back.

Hyunjin had already stood up from the bed and he was trying to hold Felix in his arms. After he placed both his hands in the desired places, Hyunjin picked Felix up bridal style. Felix yelped when he felt he was being carried away and he couldn't help but gape at the person in front of his eyes who was carrying him without any problems.

"Hush... Don't say anything. I know your back is sore and I don't want you to be in more pain than you already are, so let me carry you to the sink." Said hyunjin without stopping in his tracks.

After they both reached the bathroom, hyunjin slowly let Felix down into his feet and gave him a toothbrush for him to brush his teeth. After some time when Felix was finally done tidying himself, he came out of the bedroom to find hyunjin cooking something in the kitchen. He sneakily went up to hyunjin and back hugged him just the way hyunjin had done the previous night but to his astonishment, hyunjin didn't flinch or was surprised. He just looked back a little and gave a very sweet smile to Felix.

"Someone is romantic today." Teased Hyunjin

"I am just copying what my boyfriend did to me." said Felix with a smug expression

"Then you are learning from the right person." Said hyunjin while laughing

"Jinnie, I am hungry." Complained Felix in a childlike manner

"Just a moment, lix. Your breakfast will be ready soon enough. And remember to take the painkillers I have in the drawers." Said hyunjin while pointing towards a drawer

"I will. But what are we both doing today? Don't tell me we are going to spend the entire day indoors."

"That actually depends on you, lixie. If you want then we can go on a date to wherever you wish but if you don't want to go out, then we can stay inside all day." Said hyunjin before switching off the stove and turning around to face Felix who was still hugging him tightly

"I want to go on a date. Can we go outside?" asked Felix

"Sure, love. Just tell me where you want to go and I will prepare everything." Said hyunjin while putting his hands around Felix's waist

"Then, can we go to a beach? It has been too long since I went there." Asked Felix

"If that's what you want then we will go on a beach date. Just let me arrange everything. And one more thing, we will go around sunset. I don't want you to strain yourself. So, the whole afternoon you will stay in the bed." Said hyunjin in an order like manner

"Yes sir." Said Felix with a giggle

"How can you be so cute?" said hyunjin before pinching Felix's cheeks and turning around to place the food on a plate

With a small huff, Felix walked away from Hyunjin and sat down at the dining table. After some time, Hyunjin walked over and served him the food he had made and they both enjoyed a light brunch. Although Hyunjin didn't say anything, he was extremely happy that he and Felix were doing stuff like this. This gave him a homely feeling that he had not felt for so long. He had craved for someone's undivided attention and now that Felix was giving him that, his happiness was beyond any words can describe.

After they completed eating, the rest of the afternoon they both sat down on the crouch cuddling each other and saw a movie that Felix wanted to see. Felix had never been more comfortable around someone in his life and it made him euphoric that out of all people, it was Hyunjin who he was comfortable with. He was sure of his feelings long ago but to sustain a relationship, People need more than just love. They need trust, comfort, emotional support, and understanding from their partner to keep on loving them.

It is well said that falling in love is easy but staying in love is very special. But at this moment of comfort when Felix didn't worry about anything, he was sure that he wanted to be with Hyunjin every step of the way he takes. He wanted to be there for him. Felix was lost in his thoughts and he came back to reality only when Hyunjin shook him slightly from the shoulders.

"Are you okay? We should both get ready for our date or we will be lat--"

Hyunjin's words were interrupted when suddenly Felix came forwards and kissed him deeply.

"I love you, Hyujin. I love you so much."
