After they both got tired of swimming and came out of the water, they went to the resort room to change their soaking wet clothes and get ready for the next part of their date. Although Hyunjin was being secretive about what he had planned, Felix had some vague ideas as to what he has planned. After they both changed their clothes and came out of the room, Felix heard the same sentence he had heard on their first date.
“Close your eyes, love.” Said hyunjin with a smile on his face
“Again? Why can’t you just show it to me directly this time?” asked Felix
“I don’t want to do that because I want to see the reaction on your face when you see anything I prepared. I love watching you smile because of me.” said hyunjin before putting on a blindfold on Felix’s eyes and holding his hands to lead him to the desired location
After walking for a while, they came out of the resort corridors and Felix could feel the grains of the sand coming over the slippers now. After they walked for some more time, hyunjin suddenly let go of Felix’s hands and moved away from him. Then he asked Felix to slowly take off the blindfold and gently open his eyes. As Felix slowly opened his eyes and looked at the scene in front of him, he was stunned by its beauty. Although he had expected hyunjin to go all out on their date, he was still blown away by the place he had chosen for this.
In front of him was the beautiful setting sun on the horizon whose last rays of light were shining in the sky, creating a contrast with the impending blue night. The moon in the opposite direction, gay the place a more magical feel than it already was. And just beside the shore, between the palm trees stood majestically a white-colored tent that had scented candles lit all around it. There were golden-colored fairy lights hung across the roof of the tent and a small round table placed beneath it. With just two chairs and some flowers, the place was cozy and romantic beyond words. The scenic beauty of the place was breathtaking and it brought out a genuine smile across Felix’s face who had been gaping at the place since he opened his eyes.

“This is beautiful.” Was all Felix could say
“Do you like it, lixie?” asked hyunjin
“Of course, I like it jinnie. How can I not like it? I thought that I was prepared for whatever surprises you could give me but I was honestly not expecting this at all. It’s so beautiful.”
“I am glad that you liked it lixie.” Said hyunjin while beaming a smile at Felix
“But when did you prepare all this because as far as I remember, all these were not here when we came out after swimming.”
“I ordered the resort staff to do everything as I was with you but the decoration idea was mine. I planned this in the afternoon when you were watching TV and then I called them and gave them the instruction on what to do.”
“You did so much just for a single date? It’s extremely sweet of you.”
“It’s nothing love, I can do much more than this for you.” said hyunjin with his sickly sweet voice
“Uffff… What a flirt.” Said Felix with a dramatic sigh
“Now, let’s go and sit down, shall we?” asked hyunjin before taking Felix’s hand into his and leading him towards one of the chairs.
After they both sat down, Hyunjin signaled someone to bring them the food and drinks, and soon enough, they were served delicious food that hyunjin had pre-ordered considering Felix's liking. Although Felix saw that, he didn’t say anything as he didn’t want to give hyunjin another chance to flirt and also because he was hungry. After they both ate down the food served to them, the plates were taken away from their table and they were served some wine and crackers to munch on.
There was a silence between the couple but it was not an awkward silence, it was comforting, to be honest. It was enough for both of them that the love of their life was just sitting beside them and was present in the moment along with them.
“You know, I never thought I would be able to date you.” confessed hyunjin
“Why? Why was that?” asked Felix whose attention was now solely focused on the person beside him
“There was no single reason for that. I just thought that maybe in this lifetime, I wasn’t meant to be the person you love. I thought that someday, you will fall in love with a girl of your choice and forget all about me. It pained me whenever I thought about the possibility of seeing you in someone else’s arms who is not me. It might sound funny but at times I vomited because I felt nauseous. I couldn’t even imagine my life without you and now that you are dating me, I couldn’t be happier than I already am.” Said hyunjin while looking at Felix’s eyes
“It was not just you who thought like that, hyunjin. I also thought about the possibility of you loving some other man and it honestly pained me. You don’t know how happy I was when you asked me to be your boyfriend at that party. I thought that maybe it was a dream but then also I wished to never wake up from that dream.” Said Felix while laughing a bit
“We still have a very long way to go, Felix. I promise that I won’t let anything happen to you. I will be there to protect you.”
“I know that, jinnie. I know.” Said Felix with a reassuring smile
“By the way, I never asked about your past but if you are comfortable then can you tell me about your past relationship. You don’t have to if you don’t want to talk about this.” Said hyunjin
“I actually never dated anyone before. Although l liked a guy during my high school days, I never got the courage to ask him out and then I moved here and got busy being a celebrity, so it was not possible.” Confessed Felix
“So, that means you never dated anyone before just like me? God, that was unexpected honestly.” Said hyunjin with a small chuckle
“Hey, don’t tease me when you yourself have no experience of dating anyone.” Said Felix while playfully hitting Hyunjin’s hand
“I am too happy now hyunjin. I feel like this moment is going to last forever.” Continued Felix
“Nothing lasts forever Felix. But I am sure that this moment is going to become a beautiful memory of our life and I am also sure that there would be much more countless moments like these between us.” Said hyunjin with a reassuring smile
“How can you be so sure of that hyunjin?”
“Because I love you. I know that I won’t ever love anyone else in my life. You are the person I want to spend my forever with.”
“Me too, jinnie. I also want to share my forever with you.”
“Now shall we get back inside our room? It’s getting a bit cold here.” Asked hyunjin
“Yes, let’s go inside. We can leave for our home tomorrow morning.” Said Felix before getting up and walking back inside the resort with Hyunjin by his side.
The beach date which Felix had wanted was completed successfully and Felix couldn’t be happier. Hyunjin was also feeling euphoric after seeing Felix like his surprise. That evening made their bond closer than before and it was a beautiful thing to see. They were two people who fell in love, forgetting societal norms and the repercussions of their relationship yet they didn’t regret it one bit.
That evening, they both promised each other their ‘Forever’.
But something was coming their way that was going to change the course of their life in a matter of seconds. Something big, which would either take away everything from them or make their bond stronger than ever.
