Next Day
Karin POV:
I woke up to Dave snoring in my ear and his arms wrapped around me. I missed my man so much, we both been busy this past week but he makes sure he sleeps with me every night. I want to show him how much I appreciate him so tonight I'm going to have my girls help me do something special for him. Maybe like a nice candle lit dinner at his house by the pool, my friends will help me work out all the details but I just want him to know how much I love him.
I moved his arm getting out of the bed to handle my hygiene and make us a small breakfast. He didn't move when I got out of bed so I know he was super tired he always wake up when I move. After handling my hygiene I went downstairs taking out some shrimp & grits it's both of our favorites. I connected my Alexa to play some music while I cooked, I didn't have any clients today so I decided to have a mimosa while I cooked as well.
"Alexa play tonight by Summer walker" I said
The song started playing as I was singing a long because this is my mood right now.
"I know it's been too long I been on the road too much" I sang as I was cooking
The champagne from the mimosa was getting to me, I really only put a splash of orange juice for real. I turned around taking the shrimp off the stove and putting it on the counter seeing Dave walk up the hall rubbing his eyes.
"Hi baby good morning" I said smiling
"Good morning mamas" he said walking over to me hugging me
"What you making? It smell good" he questioned
"I'm making shrimp and grits" I said
"You know that's our shit baby" "Ayo why you ain't make me a drink too" he said raising his raspy voice
"Boy you was sleep shut up I can make you one now" I said laughing
He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist kissing my neck.
"You better stop before you get something started" I said giggling
"Shit start something then" he said smirking backing up
I rolled my eyes playfully
"What are your plans for today? Let's stay at your house tonight too" I said
"I gotta go check on the club and make sure all the money is right then ima chill with Rari and CJ for a bit. We can stay at my crib if you want baby." He said pulling me between his legs
"What you got planned for today?" He said rubbing my thighs
"I'm meeting up with Lexi and Ken, we're going to have a self care day and catch up" I said moving his hands and walking over to the stove to cut it off
He laughed "what you move for?"
"cause I already know what you trying to do and you not to have me all sore and tired" I said laughing
He sucked his teeth
"I got you later tho babe" I said kissing his cheek and sitting his plate in front of him
