Taming The Rain

Chapter 5

Ngayon ay Linggo.
Maaga kaming nagising ni Billie para magsimba.

Yes! You heard it right. I'm going to church with her.

8 am ang start ng service, so 6 am palang ay gising na kami para mag ayos at magpaganda. Sabay din kaming nag morning devotional.

Charot diba? Sinong mag-aakalang mangyayari sakin to? Never in my life have I imagined this thing to happen to me!

Pero ganun talaga ang buhay. Full of surprises.

You might have wondered kung ano ang devotional at anu ang ginagawa pag ganun. Sabi ni Billie sakin nun, Devotional daw is spending time with God through reading the Holy Bible. You get to know God by reading the bible with an open mind and a receptive heart.

Di man alam ni Billie pero I already started doing such a thing like reading the bible nung nasa kina Tita pa 'ko. Kaso, di ko maintindihan ang kalahatan ng mga nakasulat. Dahil dun, I got more curious. Instead of giving up at once, I searched about why one should read the bible or do devotions and such and such.
With that, unti-unti kong naiintindihan ang ilang bagay na gusto kong malaman. Like for example, the most intriguing thing which is to have a personal relationship with God.
Once I knew about it, I had my doubts. But later on, I tried to have one with God after talking with Billie about it.

The routine I started with my relationship with God is that every 5 in the morning, I rise to watch the sunrise with Him then do morning devotionals. At night, I also read His word before sleeping.

Ngayon that we are going to church, mas feel na feel ko na ang weather sa relationship ko sa Diyos.

Ewan ko ba kung bakit ko naramdaman 'to. haha

"Bessy, are you ready to go na ba? "

"Yes, of course! "

"Wow, you look excited ah"

"More like, kinakabahan. haha"

"haha mawawala din yan. But me? I'm sooo excited for you bessyyy! Pa hug nga!"

Tumawa lang ako sa kanya at nag-hug na nga kami.

"Finally, makakasama na kita sa church!"

"haha ako rin."

After a few moments sa pagcheck ng mga kailangan naming dalhin, umalis na kami sa condo and we went to church na.

Nang makarating kami sa church ay pinakilala ako ni Billie sa mga ka church mates niya. Masaya naman nila kong inakap at we-nelcome isa-isa.

It's kinda overwhelming to be honest. I never encountered this kind of thing kasi. This warm welcome. Their kind smiles that seems like they are very happy to see me, it's all new to me.

But I guess these are one of God's blessings huh.

Nang malapit ng magsimula ang service, inaya ako ni Billie para umupo na kami. Nasa unahang bahagi kami pumwesto na dalawa. Nang mag-ring ang bell ay nagpa-alam si Billie sakin dahil hudyat kasi yun para magpray na ang lahat ng kasapi sa worship team. Worship leader kasi siya kaya ayun, naiwan ako mag-isa.

Medyo nakaramdam naman ako ng pagkailang dahil di ko alam ang gagawin. Pero buti at bumalik naman siya pagkatapos.

Nagstay lang si Billie with me for a few minutes at naiwan na naman ako dahil dumating na ang oras para sa Musical Worship.

Hays, sobrang nakaka-ilang talaga maiwan dito mag-isa! Huhu

Billie told everyone to stand and everybody did.

"Hello everyone!" Billie said with a brightness I can't recognize.

Don't get me wrong. Billie always looks bright. But there's something different with her this time as she speaks with the congregation.
