Eddie Munson was not one for meeting parents, but luckily he had met Mrs. Henderson plenty of times. She had to know what nineteen year old was running around with her thirteen year old son, which made total sense. Especially since Eddie was known for being rough around the edges. What from living in a trailer park, to being in a metal band, and not to mention all of his tattoos. That particular evening he had gone without his Hellfire Club t-shirt and instead popped on a Def Leppard shirt with a couple of holes in it and a pair of black jeans ripped at the knees. Despite the warm weather outside, he also adorned a denim jacket with various patches littered across the back and front of it. The boys had found it odd that he wasn't wearing his Hellfire Club shirt, but he wasn't very keen on the idea of sharing that he was hanging out with Delilah afterwards.

He even canceled on band practice that particular evening which wasn't very like him at all. He figured Dustin would find out eventually but if anyone was going to have to know, it was going to be him. He felt a little guilty, being in that spot where he was trying to schmooze Delilah while maintaining a good, stable, friendship with Dustin. He felt like kind of a role model to the little guy but he was also quite smitten with his older sister. The two were ridiculously hard to balance. He kicked up a conversation with Dustin's mom before Dustin stormed off towards his bedroom.

"Delilah's upstairs in her room, if you go up there will you please tell her to keep the door unlocked," She said, eyeing him skeptically. He figured he wasn't the type of guy usually looking for Delilah. Then again, Billy was probably the last guy to pick her up and he was really good at playing smooth in front of authoritative figures. It's how he always got away with picking on Eddie.

"Absolutely I will, we shouldn't be long," He said, shifting uncomfortably before striding past her and heading to Delilah's room. He hadn't seen it yet so his nerves were incredibly high. Would she have it decorated all dainty and feminine or would it reflect her grungy side that he was bringing out of her. She was obsessed with music and horror movies and he caught her wearing more dark makeup around him, despite their first real hangout she was practically bare faced. As he approached her door, he could hear light music coming from behind the poster covered door. He stopped in front of it, observing the Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks posters. He also took the time to check his breath and fix his hair. He had brushed it for the first time in a couple of days so it was a little fluffier than he preferred but he wanted to look decent for whatever trouble the two were about to get into.

He knocked a little softly at first before picking up the volume when he realized she was blasting Depeche Mode. He heard her usher him in which he slowly did. She was sitting in her window, smoking a blunt wearing short denim cut offs and a led zeppelin t shirt she had cut the shoulders off of so it hung loosely across her shoulders. She was wearing a pair of high top black chuck taylors to boot. For such a simple outfit, she was really working it. He couldn't help but get lost in her long legs once again, like that night with the bathing suit. He offered her a small smile as she reciprocated and handed the blunt to him. She was so effortlessly cool, he thought.

"Evening, m'lady," He chuckled before taking a long drag off of the paraphernalia.

"Ew, did you just m'lady me?" She laughed, but the sound was music to his ears, "Cut that shit out, Eds. Did you lock the door behind you?" She asked, looking past him.

"No, I'm sorry, your mom specifically asked me not to," He smirked, handing back what was left of the blunt.

"Uh-oh, what does she think we're about to get into?" She wagged her brows playfully at him and it made him blush. The thought of doing anything mischievous in her room was sending him.

"Nothing but trouble, I'm sure," He spoke, walking towards her vanity, though he tread lightly. He wasn't as brave in her bedroom as she had been in his, but it all seemed rather intimate. He smiled at the pictures of Delilah and Dustin together, one of which held a much younger photo of both of them. Delilah had her hair in pigtails and he snickered a little at the sight. When he came across the polaroid of her and Billy, he couldn't help but find himself a little sad for her. She looked so unapologetically happy and so did he. Though his smile could have been mistaken for a smirk, it still looked genuine.

She appeared in the mirror behind him, causing him to jump lightly before he realized she was fixing her brown, curly hair. The blue was popping as it curled around the corner of her thin jawline. He gulped before he realized he had traced her jawline down to her neck. "Alright, we ready to roll out?" She asked, setting her hands on her hips and looking so comfortable around him. It was like the two were really friends now. They even talked on the phone the other night.

"Hell yeah, let's blow this pop stand!" He added, heading towards her door and opening it for her. He almost slipped another 'm'lady' but resisted and simply let her walk by instead.

When the two reached the living room, Mrs. Henderson wished them a good night and told them to be safe, which they both agreed to being. He wondered how in the dark Dustin's mom was about Delilah. About her drug habits mostly. His uncle knew he liked to smoke weed and sometimes his uncle would even join in with him, but Delilah's mom seemed a little too innocent for something like that. Eddie and her practically ran out of her house and towards the van. The messy haired rocker sped up a little more quickly so he could open Delilah's door for her again.

"And who said chivalry was dead?" She chuckled before hopping into the passenger side of the van.

Eddie hopped into the driver's side and keyed up the engine, hoping he didn't leave his stereo on too loud. Naturally, he did and he jumped lightly from it. Delilah did the same before he quickly turned down the blaring of his Ratt cassette tape. He apologized quickly before pulling out of the Henderson family driveway. He couldn't help but glance over at Delilah in the seat next to him. It still felt so surreal having her next to him. Having her in his life at all was a mystery to him. He had a plan though and that plan involved live music, beer, and probably more grass he assumed. Though the two were probably pretty stoned as is if she had been smoking before he got there.

The drive to the dive bar he was taking her to was kind of quiet, but they mostly talked about what horror movies they wanted to see in the theater together. His heart fluttered at the idea about going to a movie with her. As the two jumped out of the vehicle and headed towards the door, Eddie quickly swung an arm around her before whispering to her, "Just be cool, okay?" He felt his face flush when she shifted closer to him under his arm.

The guy at the door stopped them for a minute, but only to bullshit with Eddie. "Who's this pretty little thing?" The door guy asked, eyeing Delilah up and down.

"I'm Delilah, like the flower," She winked, extending her hand to him. She sure did know how to play it cool.

"Pleasure to meet ya miss, I'm Darin, the bouncer here at this place," He bragged before talking a little more about how the night had gone, but eventually letting them in.

The lighting was red and everything looked dark and smokey, Eddie's favorite type of aesthetic. The two headed to a table near the back, but close enough to the stage where they could still hear the music. Not that they would have any problem if a metal band was playing. Eddie was quick to pull out her seat for her before pushing it back in. "I'm gonna go get us some beers, okay?" He squeezed her shoulder reassuringly that he would be right back before he made his way to the bar.

It took him maybe five minutes to start his way back, one hand clutching the necks of two beer bottles and the other clutching two shot glasses of whiskey. He was looking to have some fun tonight with his new found friend. He set the bottles and shots on the table, watching her eyes light up at the shots. "Are you trying to get me drunk, Munson?" She smiled wickedly speaking up over the loud music.

"Would it be so bad if I said yes?" He flirted back with her, hoping it was okay that he did so. He lifted up his shot of whiskey and she did the same, "To two unlikely friends," He toasted before she smiled and the two clinked their glasses together, tapped the table beneath them and took the shot.
