Today was the day.

The Snow Ball dance at Hawkins Middle School was finally here. The middle schoolers of Hawkins had been looking forward to this event for weeks now, especially the party. The dance was an event for them to finally act like 'normal' teenagers.

Now with the Snow Ball dance tonight, Dustin made sure Jessica knew that he didn't want or need her help. All he needed was Steve Harrington. Since Dustin refused her help, she had turned to the other party members and asked if they needed her help. They all refused as well, except for Max.

Which is why, Jessica was making her way to the Hargroves' house. She stuffs her hands into the pockets of Steve's sweatshirt. Jessica makes her way up the driveway and stands at the front door. She rings the doorbell and stuffs her hand back into the warmth of Steve's sweatshirt.

Opening the door, Billy stood there, with a cigarette dangling from his mouth. He looks her up and down, his eyes filling with hatred when he sees that she was wearing Steve's sweatshirt. Jessica rocks back and forth on her heels. "You, uh...gonna let me in? It's freezing out here." "Why are you here?" Billy asks her.

"Max called me. She wants me to help her get ready for the dance tonight." "She's in her room," he states. He opens the door a bit wider, allowing Jessica to come in. She steps in and Billy shuts the door. "Uh...where's-" "Down the hall to your left."
