After the events at the Creel House, Nancy had driven to each of her friends' house so they could change into a new set of clothes. Steve was the last one to get changed at his house as everyone sat in the car, waiting patiently for him.

Nancy turns around in the driver's seat. "Hey, Jess?"

From the backseat, Jessica sits up, resting her arms along the top of the backseat where Max and Lucas sat while Dustin and Ace were in the trunk with her. "Yeah, Nance?" "What did Eddie want from the store? I want to make a list, so we don't forget anything."

"Oh look! There's Steve!" Dustin exclaims, wanting to change the subject. Ace turns his head, his mouth dropping. "Wow...he looks hot." Jessica crawls over to Ace and looks out the window, her mouth dropping as well. "Whoa..." The two best friends tilt their heads to the right as they watch Steve, who was sporting a comfy looking yellow sweater, make his way to the car. "Yellow is his color," Ace whispers to Jessica as Steve finally approaches the car and opens the trunk.
