January 8, 2018 Los Angeles

"This is our first show back. Does anybody have any New Year's resolutions that they are doing?" James Corden asks as me and another guest, Dylan O'Brian, sit comfortably on the couch in front of him. "Perry, have you got any?" He aims his question at me, so I smile brightly while nodding.

"Yeah, I mean, yeah. Nothing too crazy, though, ya know? I like keeping things simple, I don't like giving myself a purpose when I know it's probably impossible for me to finish it" I start, stuttering a little at the beginning as I try to find my acceptable response. "So I kept it easy. I have planned a lot for this year, so I want to keep enough time for my family. Maybe more time in London?" I continue and James hums in understanding.

"Yeah, I get that. Missing a homeland is a hard thing" He agrees with nostalgic tone.

"Yes! Exactly!" I exclaim, pointing at him with my finger briefly before I fold my hands back on my lap. "Also, I have so many ideas for songs these days, I just want to fly with the flow and see what happens. Maybe I'll try something a little different, who knows?" I shrug nonchalantly with a small smirk, knowing that fans will go crazy about my words.

"Oh, I like where it's going!" James says excited and Dylan lets out a chuckle beside me. I look at him quickly and we share a small laugh together. "While we're in this topic. You got a big tour ahead of you, am I correct?"

"Oh, yes, definitely!"

"How are you feeling about it?" He asks and I exhale deeply, but in a happy way.

"Oh, boy. Where's to start?" I giggle softly, earning a few laughs from the crowd. "It's definitely big, bigger than my first one. I'm focusing more on Europe this time as I feel connected to that part of the world and last time I didn't wanna get over my head too much, so I stayed mostly safe with cities. But not now, though! I'm really hope that everyone who wanted, will have a chance to come and listen. I'm very excited and happy and so bloody grateful for my fans, because I'm here only thanks to them!" I ramble out eagerly, bouncing in my seat slightly.

"Gosh, I got excited about this just listening to you" Dylan cuts in with a nervous laugh.

"Right?" James exclaims and I shake my head amusedly.

After that he moves to talk about Dylan's newest movie that will come out soon and I hop in once or twice when I'm asked, because I may be also excited about the movie. James asks me about my previous albums too and some music stuff.

Maze Runners are good movies, okay? Don't fucking judge.

"Okay, I have a last question before our time will end" James announces and looks at me curiously with a tilted head. "Perry, I have a kinda personal question for you, are you up for it?" He asks and I gulp nervously. Personal questions are never good in this work line, but it's almost impossible to avoid them.

"I'll try my best, James" I reply even if I don't feel happy about it. My mind is racing rather quickly right now about possible questions he could ask me.

"Don't worry, it's nothing too crazy" He tries to assure me with a soft laugh. I let out a chuckle at his words and put some strands of my hair behind my ear. "I bet that I'm not the only one who's wondering about your recent photos with Elizabeth Olsen. Is there a story behind that, any juice gossip you wanna share with people?"

"Well, Elizabeth and I became good friends earlier in 2017. You probably could see our photos from France where we met. I won't lie, I really like her company and I'm happily hanging out with her when she has time for me" I respond, laughing at the end. "But yeah, she's great and I'm very grateful for our friendship" I add.
