Visiting him on set - Jesse Lee Soffer

Being the girlfriend of an actor wasn't always easy. He was gone for most of the day, and sometime you wouldn't even see each other for a whole day. He would come home so late that you were already in bed. Jesse Lee Soffer is your boyfriend, and he is currently filming the newest season of Chicago P.D. You moved to Chicago with him so you would be closer to him, but most of the time, you were by yourself.

This week had been the busiest so far. They had scenes which they had to shoot at night, but they would also shoot scenes during the day. It had been two days since you had seen your boyfriend. After a long day, he decided to sleep in his trailer for a few hours before they had to start filming again. You texted when he had time, but it wasn't the same. You just wanted to see him, even if it was for 5 minutes.

Today you decided to visit the set. You always had access, so you could go whenever you wanted. Walking towards the trailers, it was quiet. You would see if Jesse was here. Otherwise, you would look around.

"Y/N," Tracy, who played Hailey Upton, smiled as soon as she saw you. "What are you doing here?"

You hugged her. "I'm looking for Jesse. I just wanted to see him, so I decided to stop by."

"So cute. I think he's in his trailer. We just wrapped up another scene."

"Thanks. I'll talk to you later." You made your way to Jesse his trailer. You knocked before you opened the door. Jesse looked up from the bed, and his eyes lit up as soon as he saw you.

"Hey, what are you doing here?"

You kicked off your shoes and laid down next to Jesse. "I came to see you," you said before kissing him.

"God, I missed you," he mumbled.

"I missed you too. How is it going so far?"

Jesse wrapped his arms around you and pulled you closer. "Good. I only have one more scene before I have two days off. I now have a two-hour break before I head back on set."

"Good. The apartment is quiet without you."

"I doubt that. You probably have the music a little bit louder."

You chuckled. "You know what I mean."

"How have your days been? Probably more exciting than mine."

"You shoot people for a living. I stayed home and read some books. I went grocery shopping and book shopping."

"Another one?"

"Three, actually."

"My goodness, you have a problem," Jesse laughed.

"I can't help it. Those books were just screaming my name."

Jesse laughed. The two of you continued talking for a while until you were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"You decent?"

"Depends on how you define that," Jay yelled back.

The door opened, and Nick Gehlfuss, who played Will Halstead, stepped into the trailer. "Y/N! I haven't seen you in a while!" Nick hugged you and sat on the end of the bed.

"Yeah, way too long. You should come over for dinner when you have time!"

"I would love to! Are you here to annoy Jesse?"

"Always. Two days without torturing him was just too long."

Nick laughed. "I bet. Sorry to break up the party then, but they need us sooner."

"Alright. Let's go," Jesse said. He turned to you. "You want to watch?"

"Yes."
