"I think- I think I... I think I need help...."

"What happened? Where are you?"

"I'm sorry- I think I need help."

"It's okay, I'm coming. Where are you?"

"My... It hurts."

"Y/N, tell me where you are!"

When Jay's phone rang, he wasn't expecting your call. You should be busy working in the ER with Will. He briefly texted how busy it was today and that he couldn't make it in time for the hockey game.

"I think- I think I... I think I need help...." Jay heard when he answered the phone.

"What happened? Where are you?"

"I'm sorry- I think I need help."

"It's okay, I'm coming. Where are you?" Jay put the phone on speaker. The team gathered around him, listening to the conversation. Mouse was working on trying to get a location.

"My... It hurts."

"Y/N, tell me where you are!"

"M sorry."

"I'm not mad at you, but you need to tell m where you are."

"I'm bleeding? I'm bleeding. I-I-I..." Jay looked at Voight. This wasn't good.

"Where are you?!" Jay kept repeating, but it was like you didn't hear him.

"Can she even hear you?" Adam asked.

"Help me. Please help me."

"Y/N, you have to tell me where you are."

"Jay, she can't hear you," Kim mumbled.

"Please help me. I'm sorry. I need help. Please help me. Someone help me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

"I got a location!" Mouse yelled and named the address.

"I'm on my way." Jay hurried down the stairs. He didn't even wait for someone to join him in the car. He started the car while still being on the phone with you.

"I need help. Someone help me. I'm so sorry. Please help me. I need help. Anyone?"

"I'm still here. I'm coming, baby. Can you tell me where you are? What do you see?"

"I don't know where I am. It's dark. Are you coming?"

"Yes, Y/N. I'm on my way! Mouse pinged your phone. Just hang on, okay?"

"I don't know if you can hear me, Jay, but I love you. I love you so much, and I'm so sorry. I... I think I'm going to pass out." It broke his heart hearing you say that. You probably thought he wouldn't be coming, that you would never see each other again.

"Y/N?" There is nothing but silence. "Hello?" No reaction. "Shit!" He pressed down the gas peddle even harder. He raced down the streets.

When Jay finally reached the address, he jumped out of the car. The team arrived shortly after him. They wanted Jay not to go in to make sure that the building was clear. But before they could say anything, Jay was running in.

"Y/N! Y/N! Where are you?"

There was no response. By now, he was fearing the worst. "Have an ambulance coming to our location just in case," he said over the radio.

"Jay, I found her! South side of the building," Antonio said over the radio.

Jay sprinted through the building. Antonio was sitting down on the ground next to you. He was feeling for a pulse and trying to make you up. "I have a pulse," Antonio said.

Jay let himself fall down on his knees next to you. There were cuts all over your body. You were bleeding pretty bad from your thigh. Your eyes were still closed.

"I'm here," Jay said. He started to press down on the wounds to stop the bleeding. Antonio was doing the same.

"What is our ETA on the ambo?" Jay yelled.

"Three more minutes," Voight answered.

Slowly, you opened your eyes. To you, everything was blurry. The voices sounded far away. The pain was too much to bear. But you needed to hang on, for Jay. You looked at the man who was closest to you. Very slowly, you could see his face. It was him. He found you. "You found me," you mumbled.

"Always. You need to hang on, okay? The ambulance is almost here," Jay said.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I love you," you said again.

You kept saying you were sorry, but Jay didn't know why.

Paramedics rushed in and took you to the hospital.

When Jay arrived, Will was already waiting for him.

"What happened?" Will asked.

"I wanted to ask you that! She should've been here working a shift with you. Why did she leave?"

"I don't know. One minute she was gone, and I just thought she had gone up to surgery. She had only been gone for an hour, Jay."

Maggie stepped in between the two guys, who looked like they were about to hit each other. "Calm down. Y/N came to me, saying she got a call that a patient needed her help. It was a homeless guy she had been treating for a cold. She needed to check up on him. I told her she could leave but that she had two hours. I guess her helping that man took a turn for the worse," she explained.

"My god," he mumbled. He sat down on one of the chairs in the waiting room. "I thought I was going to lose her." Will sat down next to him and put his hand on his brother's back.

"She will be okay, Jay. Y/N is a fighter."

After several hours of waiting, a doctor finally came out to tell the brothers that you were okay and that she could have a visitor. Jay followed the doctor to your room. You were hooked up to all kinds of machines, but you were awake when Jay stepped in.

"Hey," he mumbled.

"Hi," you slightly smiled. Jay grabbed your hand. "Thanks for finding me." You looked up at Jay. You could see the tears in his eyes.

"I wish I didn't have to find you."

"I know. I'm sorry."

"Yeah, you said that." Jay sat down next to your bed and sighed. "I thought I was never going to see you again." Tears rolled down his cheeks, which he quickly wiped away.

"I know. Me too," you croaked out. You were crying as well. "He was such a sweet man. I didn't think anything of it when I first met him. But it appears that he was a frequent flyer at Med before he became homeless. He had a manic episode today, and I just happened to walk in at the wrong time. I'm sorry. It won't happen again."

"I know. I'm just glad you're okay," Jay said and kissed your hand.
