Ishita's POV:

"I would like to have a black coffee with no sugar or any other sweetener and a lemon cheesecake." Ordering to the waiter he noted it and asked, "Anything else Mam...". I replied with a simple 'no' turning my attention back to my phone as he left. "Excuse me... are you expecting some or could I please have a seat?" a young boy approached who had brown gel hair dressed in a black leather jacket with blue tattered jeans, a typical playboy.

Who wears a leather jacket in this scorching heat it's like forty degrees outside. "Yes... I am expecting someone...". he looked offended but acted cool. "Oh, never mind but I think you wouldn't mind a company till then. Should I get you a drink?" he raced his fingers through his brown hair, the audacity of this pervert. "I would rather die of thirst but thanks... now go find some other chick and buy them the drink from your daddy's money, boy..." The waiter placed the food and glared at the guy. He scrunched his face and left, enjoying my coffee I checked the stock market and everything was going well.

"Is this the famous businesswoman we all die to meet?" an old lady with bob hair stood in front of me. Can't I just live my life and enjoy my time alone instead of these people dancing in my head, respecting her age I gestured for her to sit. "I would prefer to be infamous with the power to be invisible" My words hint that I don't like her presence. She chuckles amusingly, "Darling no one likes to have a personality buried in the earth. Everyone wants to be recognized and feel popular."

"But we all eventually get buried in the earth or turn into ash mixing with Earth." Trust me that was unintentional but it just came out so I don't regret it at all. The old lady was taken aback by my response but chuckled lightly to soften my mood. "Well... you might know me as Mrs. Jain so I would like you to meet my daughter." I have no idea who's she and why she thinks everyone around the world knows her maybe I should slip into the bathroom and google her name. She gestured at the girl sitting at the table behind me. The girl came forward in her high heels, perfect body figure wrapped in a pencil dress, and brown locks of hair with light highlights swaying up hips like some ramp walk.

She was indeed a beautiful goddess with a model physique and mannered but I could smell the arrogance from her, the girl introduced herself forwarding her hand, "Hi... I'm Veronica Jain. Runners up in Miss World Beauty contest but unfortunately didn't win but this year I will do better and prove my worth." I wanted to say, I'm not hiring you girl but just smiled as these people surrounded me. With a handshake, I was already exhausted with this socializing thing but luckily, I don't need to give introductions... perks of being a billionaire.

"My daughter surely has talent and..." don't ask me what she bragged about her daughter because I wasn't paying any attention to it, I just smiled and nodded to everything even on the mention of the death of Mr. Jain, I know embarrassing. Veronica was just observing me like a maniac trying to find the material I was made up of. "Yeah... I heard about her in the news outlet in which Armaan Goel proposed to her for marriage... for sure it was a hot topic..." Veronica mentions venomously. I got the idea that she's a fan... I prefer to vanish from this place God knows if some snipers are in the other building aiming at me because this fangirl got to know that I'm marrying her crush.

"Those are just news... I haven't agreed to marry him... not yet..." I mentioned and examined the old lady. I haven't ever seen or known her maybe because I was never in touch with India's business world or entertainment industry even if my sister was a popular TV artist. I used to handle most of the stuff from London so my attention never diverted towards it. "Can I know why you made me meet your daughter?" I asked the old lady sternly. She was offended by it and then instantly covered it up with a huge grin, Veronica sighed out of boredom.

She explained, "Well I wouldn't waste your time and come to the point. My daughter wasn't interested in asking for any help from you but I sort of forced her to at least try. We got to know that you were investing in Pearls Entertainment but then changed your mind. That company promotes Veronica and she's one of the most prominent artists in that company. I just came here to urge you to give it a second thought as we need funding. If you would become one of the board directors then it will be favorable to both of us as I wish you can help us by promoting and investing your money in Veronica for the upcoming contest and in return you will make a lot of money from it. Pearls Entertainment has been the leading production house in the mainstream Indian Entertainment Industry. Veronica will promote the textile from your industries making it an international brand wearing them in various contests and advertisements."
