It was soon dusk, and the sky slowly grew darker. Parker took a quick shower, and hurriedly picked an outfit from his wardrobe. He wore something casual. A white hoodie, dark ripped jeans, and a pair of white sneakers.

He then fixed his hair with his hands, brushing it down with his fingers while looking at himself in front of the mirror of his bedroom. His natural white hair was short and straight, and it didn't require too much attention. Therefore, it didn't took him long to finish getting ready. If this was Paris, then she would've probably taken another hour to finish with her look.

After getting out of the house, Parker walked to the nearest bus stop, and headed directly to the music room of his University. He knew that Kyle would be here since he spoke to him on the phone this morning, and Kyle had told him that he would be here in the evening, composing another new song. Kyle didn't know that Parker would be coming here though, Parker wanted to surprise him.

To be more precise, the main reason why Parker came here in the first place was because he needed to talk with Kyle. He has been wanting to confess to him for the past few days, but he didn't know how to start.

He knew that these feelings that he had developed for Kyle were no longer admiration only, but it was also love, affection, desire, so many other things that he didn't know how to explain. He only knew that he wanted to be by Kyle's side all the time.

The way Kyle would ruffled his white hair while smiling softly would always cause Parker to blush, his cheeks heating up, feeling Kyle's fingers brushing through his scalp. His stomach would bloom with butterflies and flowers.

Parker knew very well that he was still a young and naive seventeen year old boy that is going through a lot of hormonal processes, like his sister would always remind him. However, this time, he knew that his feelings for Kyle were real, and they were there.

The only evidence he had right now to prove himself was the loud pounding of his heart whenever he was with Kyle. It didn't matter if it was through the cellphone or in person, his heart would always become restless with Kyle, and he wanted him to know how he was feeling. He couldn't keep it in any longer.

Oh, boy! He felt so nervous. He knew that his shyness wouldn't help him express himself the way he really wanted, but if he doesn't tell Kyle now, then it's very possible for someone else do it before him, and perhaps by then, it would be too late for him to make a move. He couldn't waste anymore time! He needed to be courageous at least once in his life, right?

When Parker entered the music room, he spotted Kyle sitting on a chair, playing the guitar with closed eyes. He was humming the melody that he was playing with so much passion, he was concentrated on what he was doing. The strings vibrated with an angelic sound. He looked even more handsome whenever he played an instrument like this. There was no one else inside the room, only the two of them. This was a perfect chance!

Parker slowly approached him, hands behind his back. He spoke in a soft voice, trying not to startle Kyle since he had come here all of a sudden. "Um, hey."

Hearing this, Kyle's fingers halted on the strings of the guitar, letting the last note resonate inside the room until it gradually faded away in the distance. Then, there was complete silence.

"..."

"..."

Dead silence.

Kyle placed his guitar down on the ground, getting off the chair to stand on his feet. His back was still facing Parker. He would be lying if he said that he wasn't shocked to see Parker here, but he wasn't surprised either.
