The next morning when Paris woke up, the first thing she did was glance at her surroundings with drowsy eyes. She wasn't in Kai's bedroom, but instead in her own dorm that she shared with Pearl.

Last night, after running five laps around the training field, she took a quick shower, and went directly to the dorm to sleep. She had no idea if Kai had returned from the mission or not, but she didn't care, she was pissed off and just wanted to rest. But now that she had woken up already, and was more relaxed, she had to admit that wanted to see her again and check if she was fine.

Without wasting any time, Paris took another quick shower in the morning and got dressed into her uniform. She was currently drying her moist hair with the hair dryer. As she was doing this, she noticed that Pearl had entered the dorm.

She turned the hair dryer off to greet her, "Good morning, Pearl."

"Good Morning." Pearl answered with a little smile that immediately left from her lips as she dropped her gaze to the ground.

Oh, no. What happened now?

Paris realized that something was wrong just by seeing her upset expression. "What's wrong? Is everything okay?"

Pearl shook her head, still staring at the ground. She took a deep breath, leaning her back against the wall before speaking, "Ms. Kai wants to see you. She is waiting for you in the living room. She told me to come here and tell you." She lifted her head up to gaze at Paris, her expression was filled with concern. "I don't know what she wants, but I can tell that she is not in a good mood today. Please, don't make her wait for too long."

As soon as she heard this, Paris headed out the door and went the living room without thinking it twice. She didn't care if her hair was still moist, this was more important right now. If Kai was in a bad mood, then that only meant that something must've really happened. She just hoped that it wasn't something too serious.

When she got to the living room, she saw that Kai was not alone. There were bodyguards with her, which it wasn't surprising. But what she was not expecting was seeing Taylor here too! What the hell!

What bothered her the most about all of this was the fact that Taylor was sitting next to Kai on the couch. There's so much space on the fucking couch! Why do they have to sit so close to each other?

What an impudent woman! Taylor was always putting her noses in places that she shouldn't. Why was she even here in the first place? Shouldn't she be locked in her room? Paris felt her head throb, she was sure that she was going to get another headache today.

Kai stared at Paris with those cold piercing eyes, not uttering a single word to her. She was in a bad mood indeed. Her arms were folded in front of her waist while a leg was crossed over the other in that sitting position. Paris couldn't tell what the hell was happening, but she knew that whatever Kai was about to say was going to pour out of her mouth like burning lava.

Taylor placed a hand on Kai's shoulder, as if she was attempting to calm her down. "I knew it, Kai. Paris can't be trusted."

Paris widened her eyes slightly, hearing this. She clenched her fists tightly, disliking the way Taylor was touching Kai. What do you mean by, "Can't be trusted"? Was she trying to manipulate Kai or something?

'What a fucking bitch! You are the traitor here! The one that shouldn't be trusted is you! You fucking idiot!' Paris cursed internally. She wished she could've shouted these words out loud though.

Paris creased her brows in irritation before speaking up, "What the hell are you talking about?"

"Don't pretend like you don't know." Taylor glared at her and continued, "You were with Venus last night. Kai has told me everything already. She said that she has warned you many times not to get involved with the minor family, yet you still have the guts to hang out with Venus."
