CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN

-after school-

When I got home I yelled "home" I sprinted up stairs with my muddy red converse which mom wouldn't have normally allowed but since she was on the low I was doing what I normally don't but nothing too drastic. I checked moms room to see she was still fast asleep in her bed, I was worried because I had basically caused my moms down fall in her mental health. I walked into my room shutting the door and taking off my shoes, I put on some black home shorts and kept my black crop top I exchanged my school socks for my fuzzy pink home socks. All of a sudden I heard a voice in my head.

"He knows. You know he knows you just can't accept it"

What the hell was this voice even talking about? I ignored the voice and went down stairs to make my self some tea because I thirsty but not for orange juice just for tea.

I turned on the TV switching through channels when I skipped the news channel

"..Kyl"
Was what I had heard the news lady say before I skipped, now I was intrigued and and went back to listen, just in time too.

"He really was a lovely man..on with the announcement about Kyle..Kyle Brandon was found dead Tuesday this week, detectives still don't know the exact time of death but speculate that his death occurred in the afternoon somewhere near 3:00 to 3:50, he was an ama-"

The news lady was interrupted by my phone ringing, it was Dylan, I picked up.

"Hey uhm Kirby can you come over to Mine we gotta talk..no one's home just me"

"Alright? Why? is everything ok?"

"Yeah just come over I have a surprise"

"Ok!"
I hanged up I went upstairs and put on my normal socks and my red converse,I sprinted out the door before leaving I texted Caleb.

"Heyy! Maybe we could go on a second date some time?"
It was 3:12 I'd probably be at Dylan's by 3:35. I texted Dylan.

"On my way!"

I got on my bike and started heading of to Dylan's place.
