"𝐃𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 your pancakes?" Rory asks smiling.

"Of course, Luke made them..." I say grinning in her direction.

"Oh, I'm glad" Rory replies nodding.

I nod back not knowing what to say, I just kinda ignore her reply and continue eating, after a few minutes I notice she is staring at me.

"Oh, my God!" I scream, creeped out because of her obsessive look.

"What?" she replies like nothing is going on.

"You are staring at me!" I tell her.

"I'm not!" she replies.

"You want me to finish my pancakes as soon as possible, don't you? AH! You don't wanna be late!" I say as soon as I realize why she is acting like that.

"Alright...just do everything faster and remember we're stopping by my grandparents' place after school, I need to borrow something," she says trying to sound threatening.

"Oh, right! I'll go tell Luke right now" I say getting up from my seat.

"No! Finish your pancakes first, please" Rory nearly begs me to hurry up.
I sit down again and finish my breakfast in three minutes, then I get up again.

"It'll take a minute, don't worry," I say anticipating the "Please hurry up" Rory was gonna say.

I go near the counter but Luke isn't anywhere to be seen, fortunately, Jess comes downstairs and he could tell him. He leans on the counter while rubbing his eyes.

"Hey, Mariano, how are you?" I say grinning at his sleepy face.

"Can't complain, Quinn, you?" he replies trying to wake up.

"I'm good, even though I had to rush my breakfast because of Rory," I tell him glancing in Rory's way, him kinda smiling while she glares at me.

"Have you seen Luke?" I ask him looking around the diner.

"Nope," he says "Why?" he asks.

"I'll arrive late at work today, gotta stop by Rory's grandparents' place" I explain to him.

"Do you wanna leave him a note?" he asks picking up a pen.

"Yes, that'd be great!" I reply.

"Yes, that'd be great!" I reply
