She was so worried, the worse part was, she couldn't tell Yolanda or Rayan the truth and it killed her, but she knew that Zain didn't want to involve them, she had to say that he had to travel for an urgent meeting. It had been two days and she was trying to focus on the TV screen but she couldn't, all she could think about was if they were ok. What she was going to tell his family if something happened to him. She just got accepted by his parents and now she was going to be chased away because if she didn't tell Zain, she cared about Antonio, he wouldn't have gone out of his way to rescue him. "Your phone has been ringing none stop", Yolanda complained bringing her back to reality. Her phone was right next to her yet, she could not hear it because she was deep in thought. She didn't bother to look at the caller ID so she just answered. "Hello", "Hey baby girl. I missed you", hearing his voice was music to her ears. Tears started to run down her cheeks. "Papa bear, is that you?", she asked hearing a chuckle on the backend. "Yes, it's me. We found him, I wanted to come and get you but there is no way am letting them roam around our home without having my eyes on them. Can you come home please?", he asked sounding tired. She nodded her head so fast until she realised, he could not see her. "Oh, my god. Yes am coming Papa bear", she said happily, hanging up. "He is back?", Yolanda asked but Valerie was too excited to focus on answering. She hugged her roommate and then ran for the door. She turned the car on, driving like a crazy woman, all in the hopes of holding the love of her life in her arms. She reached their home to see nothing was out of the ordinary. "Zain! Zain! Where are you?", she found him by the living room. He was sleeping next to Boris who had an ice pack on his face. She ran to Zain straddling him, he woke up abruptly and if she was not holding onto his neck she would have found her butt on the floor. "Fuck Val! I almost dr-", she smashed her lips on his, kissing him deeply not caring that there was someone next to them. When she pulled back, she inspected his face, and when she found no injury, she started kissing him all over his face while saying "Thank you god", over and over again. Boris chuckled, turning Valerie's attention to him. "You are the most craziest and stupid giants I have ever seen. What were you thinking?", "I was thinking of saving my Boss", "I was thinking of saving your friend. He is your friend right?", Zain teased on the last part earning a smack. "Ouch! That hurt", he pretended to scratch the back of his neck making Valerie laugh. "What's with the fucking noise?", a horsed voice said from the hallway making her turn to see a beat-up Antonio holding on to the wall for support. She ran to him, hugging him. "Hey Val, I heard you sent the cavalry to rescue me. Thanks", he said. "You heard wrong, but am happy you're ok", she said still hugging him. She was pulled away by an emotionless Zain, who clearly didn't like to see her hugging Antonio. It made Antonio laugh while holding onto his left rib. "Thanks, man. I know you didn't want to do it but... I owe you my life", Antonio told Zain who nod his head, pulling Valerie tighter to his side. 

She was preparing food for the guys when there was a knock on the door. Zain came rushing to go open it. She didn't understand why he looked alarmed until she saw who was on the other side of the door. It was Valentino Greco in the flesh. She started moving backward until their eyes collided. "Iris my dear, You look beautiful as always", he said with a cheerful voice that made her angrier. It was the same voice that made her accept to escort him to places, not knowing it was going to be used against her in the future. "Her name is Valerie, father. Why are you here?", Antonio asked. "Well, I heard what happened so I came to check if you are ok. How did Boris manage to get you out of their hands? I know Russians, they never travel light", he asked looking at Zain, who remained silent. "He is that good father", Antonio replied clearly ignoring his father's insinuation. "I see, well I also come baring gifts, Adira my dear, come see your husband", he said gesturing to the door. Valerie watched a model-like woman walk in seductively, she looked at Zain and then turned to Antonio, "Oh my god, am so sorry they did this to you. It's my fault", she said with so much drama that Zain couldn't resist rolling his eyes at the same time Boris whispered 'bitch' it made Valerie smile. "You must be the famous Iris. I thought you would be... Taller", she said walking towards Valerie and inspecting her from head to toe. "Sorry to disappoint you. My name is not Iris, It's Valerie not that it matters to you", she said putting her hand on her hip making her curves look bigger, clearly sending a message. "Yeah... you are a disappointment. Well, am sure you will find someone who will see that extra fat as something more than just... extra fat", she said without removing her eyes from Valerie's hips. "You mean besides your so-called husband, who would still choose me or my current boyfriend who would not fall for your charms? from where I stand this extra fat is what they keep begging for. Now if you think you can not resist insulting me in my own house, I suggest you take your backstabbing 'father in law' and leave before I throw you out", she spat making the so-called Adira swallow hard. She looked like she wanted to say something but Valerie's glare made her change her mind. "Good. Zain, please show the guests to the living room, dinner will be ready in an hour", she said walking back to the kitchen.
