[This takes place in the future]

With all the time that had passed, you and your mates were able to build a happy and comfy home. Although the organization provided you all well, there were just some times where an emergency run to the local grocery store was needed especially with a bunch of children and one on the way. When the first child was born, everyone had agreed to become equal parents no matter who the biological father was so everyone ended becoming "dad" even before they actually produced children. When emergency runs usually happened, everyone jumped in to go with much enthusiasm and this run was no different.

This time, Namjoon, Yoongi, Jimin and Taehyung had decided to join you although you insisted that you didn't need so many people. They however argued that since you were pregnant that you needed as much help as possible. The moment you all entered the market, Taehyung and Jimin sprang forward to look at all the aisles and get what they "needed". Yoongi did the same although his pace was much slower. Only Namjoon stayed by your side but not because he wanted to. After the first few visits, the wolf kept knocking things over and breaking things. Everyone argued that he needed to just stay home, but since he was the alpha, Namjoon insisted on going. The best compromise everyone got to was that the wolf would stick to you and that his tail would have to be stuffed down his pants.

"Both hands on the cart, Joon," you reminded him while pulling the cart through the store, trying to get to the baby aisle.

"I know, little red," Namjoon pouted, his ears drooping low although you couldn't tell because of his hat. The two of you walked slowly towards the baby aisle as you eyed some of the snacks on your way. It wasn't the best idea to have a pregnant woman with monster cravings go to the grocery store but since you were the only human in the pack, it was necessary that you went.  Your hand instinctively went to your stomach as you eyed the huge bag of potato chips. You then turned to Namjoon with your biggest pout and puppy dog eyes,

"No way," Namjoon crossed his arms when he stopped pushing the cart, "You know Jin doesn't like it when you eat junk food for cravings."

"I'll finish it in the car! What Jin doesn't know won't hurt him," you smiled before reaching for the bag but Namjoon caught your arm halfway through.

"Jin is going to find out and I don't want to be the mate he scolds so try again later," Namjoon redirected your hand to his lips and kissed it while you whined.

"Aaaw! How cute, I love seeing young people in love," an older woman cooed while stopping in front of you. 

Namjoon automatically blushed and hid behind you, making sure to angle his back towards one of the shelves to hide the bulge of his tail. Although the store itself wasn't against having hybrids (as long as the owner was present and they had collars), you were all still careful about letting the community know that you were a human-hybrid family. Since Namjoon had his hat on and his tail tucked away, it was easy for most people to just assume that he was human. Especially in certain angles like in that moment.

"How far along are you dear?" the woman asked.

"Five months," you answered while rubbing your stomach.

"I'm sure you and your husband are excited,"

At the word husband, Namjoon's face perked and his hand immediately went behind him to grab his tail that was wagging in glee. It was very rare for your relationship to be acknowledged by humans so when it happened, the wolf felt a sense of pride.

"Very," you answered, "Although he won't let me buy chips,"

"Oh, don't be like that to your wife, spoil her once in a while," the woman scolded Namjoon.
