Chapter 56

Taehyung's possessiveness lasted two and a half days which was a little surprising since everyone expected it to last longer. But still no one could really complain about it. As usual, Jungkook was the first one to hog you. As everyone fought for your attention, Jimin surprisingly kept to himself. It wasn't that he didn't want to spend time with you, but the fox hybrid was busy planning the perfect date for your perfect first kiss. He thought that the date would be a nice way to give you a break before he mated with you.

Jimin approached you after lunch. You were washing dishes when he wrapped his arms around your waist and hugged you from behind. He placed his chin on your shoulder and watched as your hands carefully scrubbed each plate clean. You didn't say anything but just allowed the fox hybrid to hold you.

"Let's go for a walk after this," Jimin finally spoke, "Just like old times."

"You say that as if that was years ago. It was last month, Minnie," you said, 

"So is that a yes?"

"Sure,"

"Great, I'll meet you at the door," Jimin gave an excited squeak and kissed your cheek before letting go and running away somewhere. In response, you chuckled and rushed to finish cleaning the dishes, excitement about your date rushing through your body. You decided to dress a little nicer than usual and fix your hair before meeting the fox hybrid. Knowing that he had been thinking about your guys' first kiss, you figured that this walk was an excuse for him to take somewhere nice to kiss you.

As you exited the house to meet Jimin who was already outside, you had been stopped by your youngest mates,

"Honey bear, you look nice, going somewhere special?" Taehyung gripped your waist and kissed you.

"Minnie wants to go for a walk outside," you let him know.

"Oh is it safe?" Jungkook pushed Taehyung out of the way to give you his own kiss.

"I trust Jimin and besides, we walk together all the time and there hasn't been any problems."

Jungkook looked at Taehyung briefly then turned back to you, "Okay, have fun, noona,"

"Behave while I'm gone," you warned the two of them before exiting. 

Jimin's fingers fiddled with themselves as you walked out of the house. He let out a sigh as he admired the way you looked. You had groomed yourself for him. A bubble of excitement rose from his stomach to his chest. You were the perfect little mate.

"You look beautiful," Jimin commented while slipping his hands into yours.

"What? I woke up like this," you winked at him.

"I can't wait to wake up next to this every day," Jimin grinned while pulling you forward. Although he had been given permission to sleep in the pack room (as long as it happened after Taehyung's possessive stage), he wasn't technically allowed to sleep next to you.

As the two of you walked in a comfortable silence, Jimin squeezed your hand intermittently. You didn't know if it was because he was nervous or if he was trying to send you a message, but you kept quiet just in case he was anxious about the kiss. 

"Are you excited about the marking?" you asked.

"Hm? Yes, I am,"

"You're not nervous?"

"Nervous? No, why would I be?"

"Just that...I know Tae and Kook were a little anxious about it since they aren't very experienced."

"Oh, I have no issue there. I know what I'm doing, angel,"

"Oh is that right? You're not being too cocky are you? It's okay to ask for help," you teased, "I hear Yoongi is a good mentor although a little rough,"
