V8E4 Fault

Yang, jaune, ren, roman, and neo were driving their hover bikes across the tundra just outside Mantle, following The Hound like beast up into a rocky chasm, with y/n right on it's tail as jetray.

Jaune: "It’s going to lose us in these mountains! We can’t keep up!"

Jetray: "not if I can help it!"

Ren’s bike starts shaking, and he looks at the frost-covered display, to find its engine is losing integrity.

Ren: "I don’t know how much longer these bikes can stand the cold"

Roman: "quit complaining and drive ninja boy!"

Yang: "I’m really glad one of us can fly.."

Jaune: "Wait, hold on!"

Jaune deploys his shield on his arm and hits the brakes on his bike, moving back to drive parallel with Roman and neo.

Jaune: "hey, neo, going to get you up there"

Roman: "you heard the blonde neo! Get up there!"

Jaune lifts his shield up, and neo leaps from romans hoverbike to land on Jaune’s shield. Jaune charges the Gravity Dust in his shield and blasts neo toward y/n. Y/n catches neo with his feet, and tosses her at the hound, which she uses her umbrella blade to stab into its back to keep herself on.

Roman: "that's my girl! Go neo!"

Yang: "Nice!"

Jaune: "she's slowing it down! Keep steady!"

Yang: "hey babe, from what Ruby told me, jetray has laser eyes, now's a good time!"

Jetray: "can't! It's a concussive  blast! If I fire it, it'll do more damage to Oscar! Not to mention neo current on its back"

Roman: "well, there goes that idea"

The hounds front suddenly began to bubble, and suddenly, a second hound split off from itself, it fell, then grew Stinkfly like wings, and tackled y/n, and started an aerial fight.

Yang: "thank thing did not just split in two like ditto!"

Ren: "don't forget the Stinkfly wings!"

Jetray: "I'm getting tired of copycats!"

Y/n changes to astrodactyl, and wraps his whips around the second hounds neck, and smashes it into the wall, as it suddenly melts into a puddle, dead.

Astrodactyl: "scratch that yang. Raw it duplicated like echo echo"

Roman: "that's different how?"

Astrodactyl: "cause I just killed it, and the first one is still flying away"

Yang: "splixon's share the pain across all the clones, while sonorosian's don't"

Astrodactyl: "Raw someone's been doing research"

Yang: "when my boyfriend is an alien shapeshifter, I gotta at least to a little research"

Roman gags.

Roman: "keep the comms clear of flirting please"

Suddenly, a loud roar shudders through the area, as a multitude of Grimm began to either fly in, or burrow through the walls of the chasem.

Yang: "Did it just call for backup?"

A Teryx swoops at Yang, but it was immediately caught by y/n with his energy whips, and throws it at another teryx. Jaune slashes Centinels in half as he passes them while a flock of Teryxes flies behind him.
