Tldr: Dream wakes up hurt, tells George, George calls karl, karl takes Dream to the clinic and takes him out to get lollipops because he was so brave.

Dream opened his eyes and felt something dripping from his face. He thought it was sweat so he just wiped it off, he gave it little thought til he saw it was blood

Oh.

Fuck.

"Georgie!"

George groaned but woke up
"Huh..?"
"Help-"

Dream had managed to get up to get a towel and hold it up to his bleeding eye, only now noticing the scrapes, bruises, rug burns all over his body. Goddamn what happened?

"What- are you okay???"

George got up, in absolute horror. Help? Just a calm help? There was blood all over the carpet, side table, and bedsheets. How did he even manage to get back into bed without noticing????

"I'm gonna get Karl, you stay."
"Oh of course, lemme just go walk outside while bleeding from my face, yeah that's a smart plan, glad you were here to tell me not to"
"Clay, I swear"
"Kidding, go get Karl"

After a few minutes or so, Karl walked in calmly, he thought George was overestimating the situation until he saw the scene. Yeesh- George wasn't kidding

"Come on dream, let's go to the ER, we gotta make sure you're ok"
"ER..?"
"Yeah, can't find out you've busted your eye or something"
"Nuhuh.. I don't like doctors"
"You have to- how about this? I'll stay with you the whole time"
"Mm..do I get poppops for bein good..?"
"Of Course you do, hell, I'll buy you a million of them if you go"

Karl extended his hand out for Dream to take and he took it hesitantly. One long trip to the doctors later and. . .

"See, it wasn't so bad" Karl smiled, holding dream's hand as they headed towards the car. "You even became a pirate!"

"Arrr" Dream made a little hook with his index finger, giggling a bit

"Arrg" Karl did the same, just smiling as he opened the car door for Dream.

"Popops!" Dream beamed, getting into the front seat and putting on his seatbelt

"Yep. A million lollipops, just as I promised"
He really was just gonna buy a big bag of dumdums, not like the little man knew numbers anyways.

"Is a million this many?" Dream had all ten of his fingers up,
"It's more!"

Dream gasped and squealed happily

"That's a TON!"
"Yep!"
