Mini stories - 'the crossover' Dnf

(Requested by my little man, I love you teddy bear💖)

"Momma! Momma!"
"Yes bub?"
"They here!"
"You wanna open the door and welcome them in?"
"Mm..do wif me?"

Owen set down the towel he was using to dry the dishes to head over to the door. teddy followed right behind quite a bit taller then his 'mama' but potato tomato doesn't matter.

Owen opened the door and greeted the two visitors

"Hello dream, and a very nice hello to you little man," he smiled gently at George who peeled quietly from behind dream, much like teddy was doing with Owen.

"Yours shy too?"
"Oh you have no idea, he wouldn't leave the window until he saw your car but couldn't even muster the courage to say hello" Owen pat Teddy's head gently

"Come in, come in, let's move on to the living room to the little ones can get comfortable, I have to imagine it was an uncomfortable car ride for this little man"

"Yeah it was a bit of a fussy ride but he was extremely impatient to get here, he's been dying to show teddy his new toys"

"You hear that bear?"
"Mmhm.." teddy nodded shyly from behind Owen, doing his best to hide. The four of them headed to the rather small living room, it looked that way because of how many toys were strewn along the floor. Owen just couldn't say no to Teddy bear,

To George it looked like candyland! so many toys! He whispered something to dream for a couple seconds, pouting when Dream whispered back, then shyly turning to stare at owen

"Can I..plays?"
"Of course you can, these toys were made for that silly goose"

George gave a little smile, he wasn't a goose! He was a boy! It almost made him want to start giggling, he rushed onto the soft rug and began to play with two race cars.

"Teddy bear, why don't you show gogy your favorite toys?"
"..Nuhuh.."
"Aw why not little guy? I bet he'd love to see them, I know I will" dream stepped in, teddy began to beam as he rushed off from owen's side to begin telling dream about his toys

"Dis one wolfy 2! Mama buys him afer wolfy 1 wented on an aventure . . ."

The stories and explanations of his toys went on for a while, George even stopped playing to listen to some of them, he liked listening to the stories of Teddy's toys and their many adventures. After a while it was naptime, and wow did the two of them go out like two lights.

Owen and Dream could actually have a moment to talk, there wasn't much to talk about besides their boys, but that was conversation enough. Talking about the rough nights staying up late when one had a tummy ache or waking up early because they had a nightmare. Of course they spoke about the good times too having their little ones hug them and say thank you when they see them having a rough day, getting random kisses whenever they feel cuddly. Being a caregiver was the best

They took advantage of their free time and began to prepare after nap snacks for the two boys. Fresh cut strawberries with mashed bananas and blueberries for teddy and some chicken nuggets for George.

"Geo tan hav nuggie?"
"Mm..can have a buebewy if give?"
"Mhm!"

They swapped their foods, eating off of each other's plates, comfortable with one another.

Owen was proud of his little man and loved him more then the moon, Dream felt the same about his little man Gogs
