A group of a priest in saffron robes welcomed the royal guests. Jungkook was escorted to the chief priest who sat at the foot of the huge twenty feet tall golden statue of Lord Buddha. He seemed to be meditating but opened his eyes as soon as the emperor stepped into the room. "Welcome, Your Majesty and General Park."
Jungkook acknowledged his presence and then sat with folded knees. The two men bowed infront of the idol and prayed. Once they were done Jungkook approached the chief priest, "Sinbu, I am here in search of answers to my questions." He was told by Jimin that the mystery of his mother could be solved there.
"Emperor Jeon, last time I saw you .... You were in your mother's womb." The old man smiled at him, wrinkles covering his entire face. Jungkook smiled back in awkwardness. He didn't remember visiting that monastery before. "How is your brother?"
The young Emperor was confused at the sudden question directed at him. He was the only child of his parents. "I think you are confused. I have no brother except my younger cousins."
"But how is that possible?" The priest murmured to himself, "I may be old but I clearly remember the last day I saw the Empress. She was heavily pregnant and holding the hand of another boy. She even introduced him as her older son."
