Memories Steddie

This is gonna revolve around the weird theory that Eddie grew up in the lab but escaped and was found by Wayne.

Steve knocked on Eddie's trailer door confused when he didn't get an answer as they had plans to go out tonight. Steve knocked again
"Ed's you in there?!"he called into the trailer
It takes a moment but the door opens revealing Wayne
"Oh hello Mr Munson"
"Hey kid"
"Is Eddie here?"
"Yeah he's in his room, come on in"
"Thanks"
They walk into the trailer
"He hasn't left his room all day"
Steve went over to Eddie's room door and knocked.
"Ed's Can i come in?"
When he doesn't get an answer he opens the door slightly
"Ed's?"
He sees Eddie sitting on his bed with tears in his eyes looking down at his wrist. Steve walks into the room and closes the door behind him.
He stands there awkwardly for a moment till eddie looks up at him
"Steve?"
"Yeah?"
Eddie pats the spot next to him on the bed and Steve sits down next to him.  Eddie covers his wrist with his other hand.
"Ed's what's going on?"
Eddie cuddles closer to Steve and lifts his hand off his wrist revealing a small tattoo that read 010 Steve gasps
"You were one of the lab kids?"
"Y-yeah"
Steve gently rubs Eddie's back
"How did you escape?"
"I um I found an old pipe and crawled through that"
"Do you still have your powers?"
"Kind of"
Eddie lays his head on Steve's shoulder
"Why where you crying sweetheart?"
"Oh you know I'm just a stupid weak baby"
"Ed's..."
"I don't know, old memories i guess"
"What happened to you?"
"S-stuff" Eddie says tearing up again
"Oh honey...."
Steve pulls Eddie onto his lap for a hug.
"Your ok, your safe now"
"Th-thanks stevie"
They sit there hugging till Eddie falls asleep in Steve's arms.
Wayne pokes his head into Eddie's room slightly worried about his nephew he sees Eddie asleep in Steve's arms and flashes Steve a thumbs up. Steve smiles at him and Wayne leaves the room.
