El and max were watching a horror movie. Max could tell El was scared because she would scoot closer to max every time something scary happened, but she kept denying she was scared.
After they finished the movie they decide to go up to bed. El is still visibly scared.
Max gets dressed and climbs into bed, el gets into bed next to her girlfriend.
"You ok honey?"
"Yeah why?"
"Oh well your just being quieter than usual"
"Yeah I'm fine, just tired"
"Oh ok..."
Max turns over and falls asleep, where as el lays wide awake to scared to fall asleep. She tries to stay still so she wouldn't wake max. She lay there for a few hours till she feels max turn over to her.
"Still awake, sweetie?"
"Y-yeah, just couldn't sleep"
Max sighs and scoots over wrapping her arms around el. She cuddles further into her girlfriends arms, comforted by maxs warm hug.
"I love you" max whispers
"I love you to" el whispers in response
They both fall asleep cuddling together
