After going on a date with Satou-san, I eventually went back to the dormitories. She wanted to come in with me, but I honestly felt too anxious to do such a thing.
After making myself dinner and eating it, I noticed the group chat was flaring up. Somehow, it seemed like Satou got into the group chat as well.
The messages read, Satooou~'s joining the group.
[Hiya! Ike-kun invited me to join when we were talking earlier.] Looks like Satou caught up to the likes of Ike and Yamauchi while I was gone.
[Horikita is really frustrating, huh? - Satooou~]
[I was really pis**d at her. I might hit her. I was really annoyed with her today. - Sudawg]
[Aha ha ha, it'll be a big problem if you hit her lol. That would be overkill! - Ike-sama]
[Hey, I have an idea. Starting tomorrow, how about we completely ignore her? - Satooou~]
[Ha, I've always ignored her (lol) - Yamagod]
As soon as Satou joined the group chat, Horikita immediately became the main topic of discussion.
[I kind of want to hit her with some payback. Bully her a little and make her cry, you know? Do something like hide her shoes. - Satooou~]
[Ha ha, what are you, kids? Lol lol lol but I do kind of want to see her squirm - Sudawg]
[Soooo what plans do you guys have to get back at Horikita? - Satooou~]
[I have this huuuge bucket. How about you try and pour this bucket on her when she uses the toilet. - Yamagod] Why did he have a bucket?
[Should we ask Ayanokouji some of his own ideas? - Ike-sama]
[Yeah, I'd like to see that stuck-up b**** fail! - Sudawg]
[Hey Ayanokouji-kun, you want in on bullying Horikita lol - Satooou~]
[Whose side are you on? Ours or Horikita's? - Yamagod]
This was inevitable. Even without Satou, they probably would have started this anyways.
[Hey, you're reading the chat right? Hey! Ayanokouji-kun, whose side are you on? - Yamagod]
[I'm on no one's side. If you guys want to bully her, I won't stop you. - Ayanokouji]
[Dude, just admit it, you hate her guts. - Ike-sama]
[Think whatever you want, but you won't gain anything from this. If the school learns you're bullying, it'll cause trouble for you. Keep that in mind. - Ayanokouji]
[So you're sticking up for Horikita, huh? Ha ha - Yamagod]
I guess it is time to use Kushida's final bit of usefulness.
[If Kushida heard about this, she'd probably hate you. Lol - Ayanokouji]
The chat went quiet after this for a while so I chose to close my phone. I doubt they would pursue this any longer. I did hear the phone buzz a couple of times too. But I chose to ignore them.
It was better to get this out of the way now, rather than later. At least I made sure put a stop to the bullying, even though I did help set up this whole thing. But I won't be able to apologies for her.
I looked outside to the nature from my window. I thought to myself to a certain saying.
"Only a fool wouldn't use his innate abilities."
I was a fool when I arrived at this school, but not anymore.
