Ah, a chapter that is simply titled 'cake'. What could possibly go wrong is this almost 2000 word chapter? Well. Nothing goes wrong per say.

Soviets POV:
My alarm went off and so I grabbed my phone off my desk and turned the annoying thing off. I sat up and took a breath. It's seven in the morning. Germany is already awake. Third will wake up...you know what. It's too early for math. He'll wake up later. I got up and changed into some of my regular clothes. By that I mean some khakis and a sweater. I put on some socks then I'm pretty much ready to go.

I walk down the short hall to my living room. There, Germany is already working. "I haven't been able to work much lately. But I suppose that since he's asleep I can catch up." I said. "Sounds good. Although we should eat first." Germany insisted. "True. What should we eat?" I asked. He looked up from his laptop in thought. "How about something French?" He asked, turning to me. He was smiling a little. "Oh god. What?" I asked. "Crepes." He said. "Oh my word! I guess I can try!" I exclaimed.

"That's what you say every time." He said. "I know. It's just so difficult." I said. "And yet you only burnt one." He said as he set his hands down to type on his laptop once again. "I guess you're right. Let me make a few." I said as I pulled out a pan.

I made a lot of crepes, not because we needed a lot, but because I just really wanted to. Also, I made too much batter. I took the extras and put them on a plate, no filling. Then put that plate in the oven. It wasn't on, I'm just keeping them in there to hopefully keep warm. I filled them with cream and fruits and we sat down to eat.

Germany oddly enough didn't work while he ate for once. He just ate. "What were you working on?" I asked before taking a bite. "Policy Report and economic stuff." He answered. "Ah. PowerPoint stuff." I said. He stifled a laugh. "Welcome to my Ted talk." He muttered before laughing a little. I laughed too, this was nice.

"What are you going to work on?" Germany asked me. "Probably a few newer orders. Things for events and such." I said. "Ah, so not too much, right?" He asked, taking a bite. "Like you're one to talk." I said in return. "That's fair." He concluded.

We continued to eat calmly before frantic banging on my door was heard. We both jumped and looked towards the door. I put down my fork and got up, walking towards the door. I look through the peephole in my door to see who it is. Then I open the door. "Hello Prussia, what brings you here?" I asked. "Where is my grandson?!" He yelled. "Oh my. How about you just come in first." I said, stepping to the side. Prussia quickly looked around the room. "I'm here." Germany said. "No. Not my great grandson, my grandson." Prussia said, looking at him. "Oh, he's upstairs." Germany said.

Prussia ran up the stairs. "Wait!" I yelled before the door was opened and he ran inside. "You could have taken your shoes off first..." I muttered to myself, knowing he can't hear me. I walk up the stairs too, sighing as I get to the top. When I entered I saw Prussia on the floor, looking disappointed at the fact Third wasn't awake. "I was going to tell you that he wasn't available." I said. He sighed. "Sorry. I wasn't told that he was back." He said. "No one told you?" I asked, shocked. "No. Not one person told me." He answered with defeat.

I looked between them. "I'm so sorry. He's been back for almost two months now." I said. His eyes widened, still looking at his resting grandchild. "Two months?" He whispered. "Yeah. Two months so far." I answered. "How long has he been asleep?" He asked, looking at me. It was around ten o'clock at this point. "Around ten hours." I said to him, He sighed again. "Well, he won't be up till around three PM then. Well. Sorry for bursting in like this." He said to me as he stood up.

"I understand your reaction. You really wanted to see him again." I answered back. "Have you had breakfast?" I asked him. He shook his head. "I made food for Weimar, but not for myself. I was too eager to get here." He explained. "I made a lot of extra crepes if you want some." I offered. "That actually sounds kinda good. Why not." He answered as we went down the stairs again.
