A huge smile grew on my face as I spoke up. "Thank you! Thank you so much!"

"But like you said, you are going to help out around here." Stephen mentioned.

I nodded. "Of course. Thank you so much! You won't regret this."

"I hope not." Stephen groaned, rubbing his forehead.

"By the way, what day is it?" I questioned.

"It's Sunday, June eighteenth." Wong informed me.

My eyes widened. I've been stuck in that cell for two months now?! I must've looked horrified as Wong spoke up, looking worried. "Is everything all right?"

"Yeah...I just lost track of time." I assured him. "I was stuck in a cell without any outside contact. I just didn't think two months had passed by."

Stephen grimaced. "That must've been tough."

"You have no idea." I confirmed.

"Why don't we get you a different outfit." Wong suggested.

"That'd be great." I said, giving him a grateful smile.

"Strange, why don't you show Mariana to her room?" Wong offered.

Stephen looked at Wong, taken back. "Why do I have to?"

"Because I'm going to get Mariana a fresh pair of clothing." Wong retorted. "Now do it, no buts."

Stephen grumbled, but nevertheless he listened as he glanced over at me. "You, come with me."

How nice of him. Reluctantly, I followed him up the stairs and down the hallway. It wasn't long until we reached a door, opening it up, revealing the room, which was similar to the room I had the last time I was here.

"This is your room." Stephen pointed out.

"Thank you, Strange. I know you didn't want me here in the first place--" I began.

However, Stephen cut me off, giving me a death glare. "You're right, I don't want you here at all. So do me a favor, and stay out of the police's sight. Don't go out unless absolutely necessary. We're risking a great deal by letting you stay here."

I grimaced. Yep, it's safe to say he hates me. Before I could say a word in response, Stephen stormed out, leaving me alone. Well, he's jolly as ever. But at least I had a place to stay. Not long after Stephen left, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said.

At that moment, the door opened, revealing Wong, who carried an outfit for me that looked like something similar to what the others wore here. He extended his arms out towards me.

"These are the only spare clothing we have right now." Wong informed me.

Well, it's not what I had in mind, but beggars can't be choosers. It was thanks to Wong that I'm here. With that in mind, I flashed him a smile. "Thank you, Wong. I truly appreciate it."

I then took the clothes, which were a crimson tunic, red pants, and red robes. Wong returned my smile.

"It's the least we can do for a friend in need." Wong said.

I stared at him in disbelief. He thinks of me as a friend? I'm sure Stephen doesn't think the same as Wong. Without thinking, I let out a scoff. "I don't Stephen shares the same mindset as you. Though I wish he did, he's such a pain."

Wong let out a chuckle. "You have no idea. But give him some time, I'm sure he will come around."

I highly doubt it, but instead of protesting, I remained silent, cracking a smile as I gave him a nod. Wong then spoke again, changing the subject. "I'll leave you to get dressed. And take your time, don't feel obliged to help out just yet. I can't imagine what you've gone through, but I believe it wasn't anything easy."
