pure pressure

After my whole breakdown the other day, I ended up just staying inside. I didn't bother answering my phone when anyone called or text, and just stayed in my apartment. I realized after a while I can't keep sitting here in my own feelings, because one that's just going to drive me crazy and two Moon will be really mad at me if I did. So, I took a quick shower before getting myself dressed. I walked to the door and slipped on my sneakers before grabbing my keys, I texted mom where I was going and got into my car. I was going to drive to Moon's, but then I remembered Robby still probably lives there so I just opted to go to Sam's. Once I got to the LaRusso's, I walked inside and yelled for 'Sam' but instead of her replying, Amanda did.

Amanda- hey Jules! sorry, she isn't here right now! what can I do for you though?

Julia- oh uh nothing! sorry to bother you, I was just hoping to see her. Kind of had something to talk to her about

Amanda- does it have to do with Robby?

Julia- yup, he broke up with me yesterday

Amanda gave me this pity look, I wasn't too happy about that, but I didn't bother blowing up over it. She walked over to me and hugged me; I gladly accepted the gesture. She pulled back and went to say something but was cut off by her phone ringing. Confused, she walked over to the table and answered it. Her face went from confused to concerned in a matter of seconds, when she hung up, she yelled for Daniel who came walking down the hall and looked at her confused.

Daniel- what is it?

Amanda- I just got a call from the school, Anthony just got into a fight with a kid at school.

Daniel- wait our Anthony got into a fight?

Amanda- yes, our Anthony! they want us to come down to the school immediately

Daniel nodded as he grabbed his keys from the table, Amanda looked at me and sent me a smile as I looked at her akwardly.

Amanda- you can come if you want to, I'm sure Anthony could use someone to talk to

Julia- oh uh I don't know about that, I *cuts off*

Amanda- he's fond of you, I heard him opening up to you yesterday. he doesn't open up to anyone

I sighed and thought about it for a few moments before agreeing, we walked to their car and got in. I replied to some messages as they continued to talk to one another. Once we arrived at the school, we walked in, and Amanda talked to the lady at the window. She let us in, and we went straight into the office, when we got in there though I saw Anthony sitting in the chair next to Kenny. It was clear that what Amanda and Daniel thought was completely wrong. I waited for them to get called back from the principal before I stood in front of Anthony who looked at me for a few seconds than back down at his feet. I could feel Kenny's eyes on me as well.

Julia- so mind telling me what went down before they find out?

Anthony- he called me LaPusso in the hall and so when I told him 'Call me that again and y'all regret it' he did so me and my friends chased him down the hall an into the library. well, he had that planned and ended up almost punching me in the face after I tripped onto the ground, but a teacher came in.

Julia- *looks at Kenny*so this was all a set up to get him a trouble? yes?

Kenny- why should I answer you? why are you even here? I didn't think you were friends with him

Julia- I'm friends with his sister and also his family, I'm here because his mother asked me to be. I'm giving you a chance to answer before I take this into my own hands so mind telling me who told you to do this, or did you come up with it?

Kenny- I was told to strike first. you should know that firsthand, you were a part of Cobra Kai

Julia- *shakes head* I wouldn't say that. I thought Robby was training you to be a good person

Kenny- no, he's trying me to defend myself and not get walked all over anymore.

Julia- Robby said that?

Kenny went silent when the doors opened and the LaRusso's stormed out. Daniel told Anthony to come, and they stormed out, I followed behind as I could feel the angry radiating off them. Once we got back to the LaRusso's, Anthony got one hell of a lecture from his parents since he got suspended. He got sent up to his room with Daniel following behind him, which left me alone with Amanda.

Amanda- I don't see what has gotten into him, he was never like this before

Julia- Its what peer pressure does to you, he wants to fit in, so he does what he has to do in order to achieve that. It's the pressure of middle school popularity.

Amanda- he told you all of this?

Julia- in his own way, yeah. we had a disagreement in the mall the other day which led to him opening up about it. he's just going through a rough patch, being a teen sucks. 

Amanda- I'm sure you understand that being one yourself, anything else i should know before Daniel goes all 'hulk' on him upstairs?

Julia- *chuckles* no I think that's all, but just have him call me. I want to talk to him about something later, if that's okay with you?

Amanda- yeah, I'm sure that's alright. I'll have him give you a call.

I said my goodbyes to her before I headed to my car. I drove myself back to the apartment and headed inside. Yaya was watching this soap opera crap on TV as I walked past her shaking my head. I went to my room and laid on my bed, after about 10 minutes I received a text from Moon.

Moon- hey just checking in! are you going to prom??

Julia- uh nope.

Moon- why not?! it's supposed to be really fun this year and plus it's our first prom!

Julia- well considering I no longer have a date and all my friends have one, no thanks.

Moon- wait Robby's not taking you?

Julia- we broke up.

Moon- what?! why!

I had to explain the whole thing to her, which took ages to type out.

Moon- oh wow, he never told me when he came back! all he said was you went home, damn I should have asked further!

Julia- it's fine, Moon. have fun at prom though, send me pictures!

Moon- well there's a after party! you can come to that! I can send you the address and everything

Julia- if I say yes, will you stop spamming me?

Moon- maybe.

Julia- than yes, I'll go to the after party.

why did I just agree to that?
