I looked at Xander and my heart kind of sunk. He looked at me and the expression written on his face was honestly probably one of the scariest things I could have ever seen. Xander stood up and I kept myself by the wall.

Xander- This is all your fault.

Julia- What? What's my fault?

Xander- You told Johnson about Alex and I! He wasn't ready to tell her yet, Julia! Why would you do that?!

Julia- It was an accident, Xander. I didn't know that she didn't know, I swear.

Xander- Why were you even talking about it?! 

Julia- I was just filling Robby in on everything, it just slipped out. Xander, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-

Xander scoffed and walked past me, I followed behind him as he walked upstairs. He went into his room, and I came in behind him. I watched as he grabbed my bag off the ground and began to throw my clothes into it, my heart was racing a million miles an hour.

Julia- Xander, come on. It was a simple mistake; you don't need to take it this far.

Xander- Simple mistake?! You just outed him to his mom who probably told his dad! She's pissed Julia! She probably won't ever let us see each other after all that and it's because of you!

Julia- Xander, I don't think she is like that. She's probably just upset that he didn't tell her, just relax for a second before you make rash decisions.

Xander looked at me before he chucked my bag at my chest, I let out a grunt when the bag hit my chest as I caught it. I looked at him with slight wide eyes as I fully realized how pissed off he was.

Xander- Only rash decision I'm making is this one. Get out, Julia. 

I didn't know what to say in the moment, I don't think there was anything I could have said in the moment that would make this better. I just nodded and zipped up my bag before turning away from him. I jogged down the stairs and grabbed my keys off his table. I let out a shaky breath before leaving and getting in my car. I didn't have any other choice but to drive home. The whole way there I couldn't stop my hands from shaking, I was nervous. How could I not be? I haven't seen my family since Christmas and when I did, shit had started up. I pulled into the driveway and got out. I grabbed my bag and walked inside; I looked around as Yaya turned in her seat. A smile came across her face as she quickly got up from her seat and hugged me.

Yaya- Bienvenido a casa, Julia! (Welcome home, Julia)

Julia- Es un placer verte de nuevo, Yaya (it's nice to see you again, Yaya)

Yaya pulled away as she placed a kiss on my cheek, I couldn't help but let a smile form when she did that. I watched her walk back to her seat on the couch, clearly invested into her true crime.

Julia- ¿Miguel y mamá están en casa? (Is Miguel and mom home?)

Yaya- Miggy está en su habitación y tu mamá está en el trabajo, así que estás libre del fuego cruzado por ahora (Miguel is in his room and your mom is at work so your free from the crossfire for now)

I let out a sigh of relief before walked to my room. I placed my bag on my bed and tossed my keys next to it. I looked around as something seemed to be out of place. I looked at my board and realized the letters from Robby weren't there. Confused I grabbed the box from under my bed and opened it thinking that I might have hide them but again, they were gone. I heard footsteps before my door opened, I looked and Miguel stood there with an odd expression. I stood up as I placed the box on my dresser.

Miguel- So your back now?

Julia- Uh yeah, Xander and I are not on decent terms again which is on me this time. How have you been though? Still doing karate?

Miguel- Yeah, Senesi Lawarence and Senesi LaRusso have been teaching us with this guy named Chosen. Anthony is even training with us, he kept talking about how you were training him a lot before winter break.

Julia- I tried my best, he wanted to learn so I couldn't pass it up. 

He nodded as an odd silence fell between us, I shifted on my feet before looking at the empty board than back at Miguel.

Julia- Do you know where the letters from Robby went? I swear I had placed them on my board or at least in this box.

Miguel- Uh about that... Mom went into a rage after you took off again, so she came in here and took the letters.

Julia- She took the letters? Where did she take them? Are they in her room?

I carefully pushed by Miguel as I walked into her room and opened her closet, I heard Miguel sigh as he came to stand in mom's doorway. I soon realized they weren't in there before looking at him.

Julia- Where did she put them? Those are very important to me, Miguel.

Miguel- Um... you might wanna check our grill.

My heart stopped. I could feel the color drain from my face as I ran past him and outside. I opened our grill and saw ashes scattered on the inside of it. I felt myself frozen in place not knowing what to say or do in this moment. I heard a car pull into our driveway, I slowly turned around as I watched my mom get out of the car. She looked at me and her face fell flat before she walked over. Miguel stood in our doorway and Yaya was next to him, when did they get there? That I didn't want the answer to.

Carmen- What are you doing back? Figured you would have left for good this time.

Julia- Why did you burn the letters? Those has nothing to do with you.

Carmen- You should be grateful it was only the letters that got destroyed, Julia. What brings you back here? Another fight? Not much of a shocker there.

Julia- Don't avoid the question! Why did you burn the letters?! 

Carmen- Because why not. 

I rolled my eyes as I took a deep breath. I was over fighting with her; I didn't see the reason to. If I did anything rash, it would just end me up in more deep shit. I didn't say a word as I started to walk past her but shouldered her along the way. I went to go inside when another car pulled up, I recognized that car by heart. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as Johnson got up, she started walking towards Johnny's door but stopped when she saw me. I could feel Miguel and Yaya's gaze burning into the back of my head, nosy asses.

Julia- Johnson? What are you doing here?

Johnson- Uh Jules, I honestly wasn't expecting to see you here. I needed to talk to Johnny, is he home?

Miguel- Senesi Lawarence is out with Mr. LaRusso.

Johnson- Oh well, when you see him tell him I need to speak to him. It's a emergency.

Julia- What do you need to talk to him about that's so important? Something happen with Robby?

I ignored my mom's gaze as I looked at Johnson. Anyone could see the regret and nervousness in her face, the question was why did she have that look?
