Mumei pov: "Fauna, I really love you," I stated once again to her awe.
"Mumei, let's get a present for Kronii." Fauna stated
"What exactly?" I asked
"Maybe a mirror?" Fauna said
"I don't know about that," I said. I wanted Kronii to look at me, not myself.
"What do you think Kronii is doing?" Fauna asked
"Well, if I had to guess, I'd say she's picking a fight with Sana because she thinks she's growing soft due to her love for us, but Sana explains to her that the reason why she's growing weaker is because she's denying that." I said
"That is oddly specific," Fauna said.
"Almost like I know!" I laughed
"Do you know?" Fauna asked
"How would I know?" I asked
"The whole vessel thing... Fauna sighed
Okay, to be fair, I can see what Sana sees... I told Fauna
"Wait really!?" She asked
"No..." I stated
"Ina and I may be linked, though." Mumei said Fauna nodded, probably not getting this at all.
"I really don't get the whole vessel thing," I said.
"Let's not talk about this," Fauna said as she noticed my sad look.
"I want to cuddle...." I said
"Okay, we can go to a hotel and cuddle for a while," Fauna said sweetly, trying to comfort me.
"We need to do some stuff first," I said.
"Let's get Kronii to come with us later too," Fauna said.
"Sounds like a plan!" I said, "Giggling to myself."
"Who will be on what side?" I asked
"You middle me left and Kronii right," Fauna said.
"But what if I want to be left behind?" I said
"Then Kronii would be left, and I'd be right." Fauna said
"You should middle!" I argued
"No Mumei!" Fauna said
"Please?" I asked. She glared at me clearly, breaking due to my look.
"Fine, but only if Kronii agrees," Fauna said.
"Yippee!" I cheered
"Don't sound too excited...." Fauna said, sounding a tiny bit irritated, which I didn't understand.
"Why are you annoyed?" I asked
"Oh, I feel like somebody in council has dissed nature!" Fauna said
"Either Kronii or Bae," I said.
Fauna looked at me and nodded; we both knew instantly who it was, but how were we going to find Bae again? It's not as if she was going to walk around the corner begging us to take her back to council.
"Mumei, please take me back to the council; nature is scary!" Bae said
"I heard you dissed nature," I laughed.
"Yeah, it is dumb!" She said I glared at her, facepalming at the stupidity of that statement she made in front of Fauna.
"Good luck...." I said as a root wrapped around Bae and dragged her into a nearby forest.
"Has anyone seen Bae?" Irys asked
Fauna and I pointed to where he was dragged off to, and Irys sighed in annoyance.
"First she changed her mind about being here, and now she disdains nature...." Irys sighed
"In front of her, may I add?" I laughed
"Nature is dumb though," I giggled.
"Mumei...." Fauna sighed as a root came at me, but I sliced it up.
"Even if I couldn't do that, you wouldn't do whatever happened to Bae to me," I sighed.
"You would be correct," Fauna said.
"Wait, what if I said it?" Irys asked
"I would do the same to you as Bae," Fauna said.
"Why does Mumei get special treatment!?" Irys asked
Fauna and I looked at her to see if she was kidding, but she looked 100% serious before realizing what she said and why it made no sense.
"You know the whole married part slips my mind, to be honest.." Irys said.
"Yeah..." Fauna and I said in unison.
"I mean, Kronii wouldn't get this special treatment, luckily." Irys laughed
"A-again marriage...." Fauna said
"Yeah, the three of us are married. ", I said.
"Wait... I thought you were joking!" Irys said
"No, why would we be?" I said
"Jeez, I want someone other than Bae then!" Irys shouted
"That's not how it works, and it's odd that the person who proposed to Bae wants to leave her the most," Fauna said.
"It's not that I want to leave her; it's just that I want to be with other women for a bit," Irys said.
"Okay, why is everyone so unhinged lately?" Fauna asked
"How so?" I asked.
"I mean, Sana is Sana. I guess she is always acting normal." Fauna said
"That isn't who I was referring to, but yeah...." I said.
"Who were you thinking of?" Fauna asked
"Doesn't matter...." She stated
"But it does...." Fauna said.
"Not really," I said.
We watched as Bae crawled out of the forest. Fauna was shocked she was even alive after being dragged in there; she could have sworn Bae was at the bottom of a lake.
"Oddly, no one survived that," Fauna said.
"She is the leader of council after all," I said.
Fauna stared at me and questioned that statement.
"Is she really thinking this?" Fauna asked
"No, not really, but if I say she is, then it's more fulfilling, I guess," I sighed.
"To be honest, Bae only really did her job for a week in general," Irys said.
"Having to deal with Kronii, who doesn't listen to orders, was a start," I laughed.
"You never processed Bae's order, Mumei, but now I'm thinking that was on purpose." Fauna stated she was skeptical of me.
"Oh yeah, 100%!" I confirmed
"Fauna, how did you defy Bae?" Irys asked
"I didn't, I just followed her rules too much!" Fauna laughed
"Sana will follow anyone that is slightly rough on her since she's a masochist," I said.
"Aren't you too?" Irys asked
"I'm a masochist and a sadist, probably in most categories honestly," I said.
"Why are you so diverse in categories?" Irys asked
"I mean, my whole purpose is to gain the council's trust and eliminate them, I suppose," I said.
"That is true," Irys said.
"C-can we go back now?" Bae asked, sounding lifeless.
"Give us like thirty more minutes," I sighed as Fauna and I continued our date.
