Mumei pov: "Fauna, we aren't going back to council yet." I stated as our date concluded.

"Wait, but why?" Fauna asked

"We are both going to help Zeta," I said.

"Wait, but I didn't agree to that!" Fauna said

"Well, it's also because I want to see you more..." I finally revealed my motive to her.

"O-okay...." Fauna said while blushing.

"Alright, let's go," I said.

"Where are we actually going?" Fauna asked

"The top of the mountain," I said.

Fauna glared at me, and she seemingly didn't want to do that voyage.

"Fauna, we aren't walking." I laughed as I shifted into owl form.

I lowered myself, grabbing her clothes, and began to fly with her.

"So strong!" Fauna said in amazement.

Fauna had the easiest job. I can carry her easily, but it was still a bit heavy, so I couldn't fly as fast or as high as usual. I mean, I estimated that we'd get there in a minute as opposed to thirty seconds.

This wasn't a very far distance at all. I mean, how would it be unless we were walking? If we did this on foot, it would take us twelve hours to get there.

"Fauna I'm sorry that I'm making you come with me. I sighed

Fauna looked at me with dismay. "No, it's fine, Mumei, I love being with you!" She said

"Well, it didn't seem like you wanted to be here." I sighed

"Well, I didn't, but as long as you want to go, I will," Fauna said.

"I mean, I really don't want to go either...." I stated

"Well then, Momei, why are we going then?" Fauna asked

"Zeta, I can't just not help her; I love her too much," I stated.

"You're such a good girl," Fauna stated.

I didn't know about that given my origin and what I was born to do and what I have done, but if Fauna says it, I will believe it. Fauna doesn't lie; she's a sweet kirin.

"If this is too hard, we can walk, and I'll give you a ride on my kirin form." Fauna suggested

"No, it's fine, you don't need to walk!" I shouted

"It's fine "I'll walk if you want!" Fauna said

"No, dear, just relax," I said.

"If you tell me to relax, I won't!" Fauna said

"Please don't be stubborn now," I giggled.

Fauna began to pout, so I flew down and placed us on the ground.

"Okay, we'll walk for two minutes," I said.

Fauna shifted into kirin form, and I flew onto her back, still in owl form, so I wouldn't put extra weight on her.

"Let's go," I said as she began to run through the town we just landed in.

"People are probably confused by this, huh?" Fauna said

"Don't worry about it; no one will be around to question this," I said.

"W-why?" Fauna asked her words, stopping a bit.

"Because... this town was monitored," I said.

"Oh, I get it. You monitored this town during your last world surveillance," Fauna said.

"Yes, also, the sacrifices from the other day were mostly from this town." I said

"Oh...." Fauna said.

"Fauna I want to go faster! I cried

"Alright, I'll go faster," I said.

"Wait, don't push yourself!" I said

"But you wanted me to go faster," Fauna said.

"Don't take everything I do seriously!" I said

"But I love you, so I'm going to do that," I said.

"Wait, Fauna, if we need to go faster, I'll just fly!" I said

"No, I'll run," Fauna said.

"Now's not the time to be stubborn!" I said

"Are you sure I can do whatever I want?" Fauna said.

"Don't you dare; if you start running, I'll fly off your back!" I said

"If you fly off my back, I'll just go home." Fauna teased

"Fine..." I sighed

Then I had an idea. I grabbed some of her fur, and I flew up carrying her.

"Mumei, it was one minute and fifty-nine seconds!" Fauna said while pouting

"Look, do you want to walk for the one second you missed?" I asked

"Yes, that would be preferable," Fauna said.

"Fine...." I stated as I landed.

I counted one second before picking her up once again to go into the air.

"Are you happy now?" I asked

"Yes very!" Fauna laughed

"You are something else..." I sighed

Fauna was different from all the other people I met; she understands that I'm capable, but she doesn't want me to do things; she tries to do all the work for me even if I don't want her to; and I don't really understand it fully.

"Mumei, can we go a little faster?" Fauna asked

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"Don't you want to get there soon?" Fauna questioned

"Yeah, I do," I said.

Then let's pick up the pace!" Fauna said

I did just that and began to fly faster. Fauna was laughing at how fast I was going for some reason, but I just ignored it, and before long, we had reached our destination.

"I'm back, Zeta!" I said as I landed.

"Welcome back Mumei-senpai and hi Fauna-senpai?" Zeta said in a perplexed manner.

"Fauna wanted to come along," I said, twisting the story a tiny bit.

"That's fine "I'm happy to see you, Fauna-senpai," Zeta said.

"Wait, why are there two Zetas?" Fauna asked

"Don't worry about it..." I sighed

"Did you do this?" Fauan asked

"Kind of, I mean, Zeta wished for this in a way," I said.

"Okay, so who in council hasn't messed up?" Fauna asked

"You and Sana..." I sighed. "Don't worry, you will in due time," I said.

I noticed I was starting to unlock time abilities, not to the extent of Kronii, but at least just foresight.

I could see that there would be a nature-related mishap, but I also didn't know when that would happen, so I basically ignored it.

"Let's go," I said.

"What about Kiara?" Zeta asked

"Crap...." I said

"I'm sure she'll be back soon," Fauna said.

I really hoped she was right.
