Reine pov: "Stay still" Iofi-senpai sighed as she tried to wrap my head with bandages
"Stay still." Iofi-senpai sighed as she wrapped my head up with bandages.
"Is Ollie going to be okay?" Anya asked.
"Probably," Moona-senpai sighed.
"Ollie has come back before, right?" Zeta said
"I had a chance to get Olivia back, and you ruined it!" Astel yelled
"Shut it...." I growled as I grabbed a feather sword and walked towards her.
"W-what are you going to do!?" He said in horror
"Push him down and hold him down, Anya...." I said
"O-okay...." Anya said as she went to his and did as she was told.
"You know I could easily do more than what I'm going to do, but I'm nice," I said.
I lowered my right arm and stabbed the feather into his back, only stopping when I hit his spine.
"Uraghhhhhh!" He screamed in agony as he passed out from pain.
"That was brutal," Kaela stated.
"He's my brother-in-law; that's why I'm being nice to him," I sighed.
"You call that nice?" Risu-senpai stated
"He literally ruined my life...." I sighed
"That is true," Moona-senpai stated. "It doesn't matter, though," she continued to say."Are you sure?" I asked
"Where did all this self-doubt come from?" Anya asked
"I'm not doubting myself..." I said
"Yes, you clearly are," the other Zeta said. The look in her eyes made me feel as if she understood what I was going through.
"I am only thinking this way because of Ollie." She doesn't seem to want to be Olivia. I don't understand because as a human, she's much more presentable to the public, but she is more charming as a zombie. I don't get it. She doesn't feel the same when she's alive. I sighed
"So what does that have to do with you?" Moona-senpai asked
"Well, I feel like I don't know who I am anymore. My back is clear now; I don't have scars or the crimson flower with 173614 seared into it, but I don't know. "I feel different, as if my life were dictated by all that, like without it, I am not Pavolia Reine." I stated
"That's why you are so spiteful; you want to find your purpose because you feel like you are now missing," Iofi-senpai said.
"Reine, sometimes it's hard to know your purpose, but you just need to think about what makes you yourself," Zeta said.
"I really want to figure out what my true beauty is," I sighed.
Reine, you are always beautiful... Ollie groaned as her transformation finally ended.
"You feeling okay?" I asked
"Yes, thank you to you..." Ollie panted
"So why does Astel-senpai want you alive?" Anya asked
"When I was alive, I was regarded as one of the prettiest women, so he would exploit me for profit by making me a model." Ollie stated
"Well, did you like it?" Kaela asked
"Not at all," Ollie said.
"Ollie, I want you to know that you are still beautiful even as a zombie," I said.
"Thank you, Reine; you must make my heart go doki doki!" Ollie said
"Wait, do you even have a pulse?" Risu-senpai asked
"Uhm... I don't know." Ollie stated
"I don't think she does," Moona-senpai said.
"Wait, did your heart regenerate or is it popped since it was stabbed?" Kaela asked.
"Look, I don't think this much thought should be put into this essay." Zeta stated
"But it really makes no sense," Kaela said.
"Actually, I do have a question: how the heck do you undergo the zombifacation process?" Iofi-senpai asked
"Huh, that is a good question," Ollie stated.
"Yeah, that's true." "It seems to only pick you to become a zombie, which is odd," Anya said.
"Well, I was just born like this, I guess," Ollie said.
"How did you turn back into a human?" I questioned
"Oh, Kronii probably messed something up." Moona-senpai sighed
"You don't seem to have a lot of faith in council," I said.
"Of course not, have you seen them?" Moona-senpai said
"Come on, it's not as bad as you'd think," I said.
"You are right. I guess they aren't that bad." Moona-senpai said
"I will agree with you, though, that sometimes they make me question why they're in charge," I stated.
"They have some decent leadership skills when they need them," Anya said.
"I guess I mean, I can't say Mumei doesn't because I'm biased," I laughed.
"Why don't you just stop the whole sister thing now?" Iofi-senpai asked
"Because she is my sister?" I said
"Iofi-senpai doesn't get stuff like that; she doesn't understand that some people like to have honorary sisters." Risu-senpai said
"I understand Iofi-senpai is an alien after all," I stated, laughing a tiny bit at what she had said.
"Wait, speaking of which, where did Subaru-senpai go?" I asked
"She went on the hunt for Watame, I'm pretty sure," Anya said.
"Not yet," Subaru-senpai sighed.
"Oh, thank you, because I need to talk to you!" I said
"About what? Subaru-senpai questioned
"Hey, Koyori wants you all to quiet down." Lui-nee sighed
"Oh well, tell Koyori that we don't want to." I laughed
"Will do, Reine!" Lui-nee said
Koyori probably would be mad, but she did allow us free access to the training facility, so we were going to be as loud as we wanted.
I saw my face in a reflection, and all I could think was, "Am I beautiful?" Ollie saw my face and hugged me, and my brain changed thoughts—maybe Ollie thinks I'm beautiful, and maybe her input is all I need.
Maybe all I need is her love in order to realize how beautiful I can be I have no idea that sounds corny in my head but maybe if I look inside myself I can find my true beauty
