Time

"Together, we will join forces and strike down Calamity Ganon!" Destiny said. "Onward!"

It had taken all day and into the night to get to the castle, so we were a little tired but Desi's previous speech had instilled us with confidence and energy.

She was born for this role.

Which was odd considering her alternate self wasn't.

"First, let's capture the enemy outposts and open the way to Hyrule Castle!" Desi instructed, talking about the three outposts scattered around the field.

"We'll just use the Divine Beasts to weaken that Ganon jerk!" Daruk cheered from through a slate on someone's hip. "Let's make this one to remember!"

I felt the ground shake as the Divine Beasts started to surround the castle on all sides, thankfully taking out a few of the higher-level monsters with them such as a silver Lynel, which I barely registered before it was encased in ice.

"The only way we will win is if we fight together." Desi encouraged from the head. "Each of you must lend your unique strength!"

There was a flash of light and whooshing of wind as Revali took out an outpost on his way past.

"I'm a busy bird, you know." Revali said with a haughty voice. "But fine. I'll make an exception and bail you out, Just this once."

Four, Sky, Wars and I took the eastern keep from the fire Moblin quickly as the others undoubtedly took the last remaining keep.

"Now!" Desi called. "Let's use this momentum and aim for the castle!"

We reconvened in the center of Hyrule Castle. But of course things couldn't be that easy.

An army of Guardians, from stalkers to skywatchers were approaching from the other end of the field, defending the castle. Even some turrets rose from their perches to target us.

"They just had to be difficult." Legend groaned.

"Wanna borrow some ancient arrows?" Wild asked.

Legend shrugged. "Sure." He replaced his sword for one of his many bows and accepted the bundle of ancient arrows that Wild offered. "It's pleasing watching monsters disappear."

"For use on Guardians only." I butt in. "This Robbie doesn't know how to make more."

The two heroes groaned and sulked off but accepted my conditions.

Vah Naboris did its best to take out some of the Guardians with its lightning, but we still had to fight some of the mechanical monsters ourselves.

I swiftly cut the head off of a Guardian stalker, looking around at the battlefield.

Vah Medoh, the Rito, and Wild were taking care of the skywatchers, leaving the stalkers to the rest of us as Naboris, Ruta, and Rudania took out the turrets and the reinforcements.

"Thank you for waiting." Mipha said as the last Guardian fell. "The DIvine Beasts are now ready to launch their attack."

I looked up to find the four Divine Beasts completely surrounding Hyrule Castle and Castle Town, poised for the strike like mountain lions.

"Let's see how you like this one, Calamity Ga–Huh?!" He cut himself off. "What in the world is that?"

The air grew heavier and it became harder to breathe as a solid cloud of Malice surrounded the Calamity's Domain in its entirety. Almost like a... "-Mlice Barrier!" Impa coughed. "How are we supposed to get through that?"
